Might be better if it actually came in black instead of that weird silvery grey.
I guess there's always spraypaint.

I looked at the end of the barrel and actually threw up a little in my mouth. I wish I was kidding but I wouldn't post this shit unless it were true.
apparently, (according to wikiped)
It was thought out by an American apparently, not H&k themselves
why is the G28's color all bronze/brown? That's the only thing that bothers me so much about it
Am I alone in disliking all those tones of "burnt bronze" or whatever?
Yeah I think it looks like shit too, although I can't speak towards its effectiveness.
why? because the germans like stacking.

if only it had the 3x carry handle scope too
that suppressor though
Modern nugget, no idea where to put this so I'll just drop it here

I like it, anyway
yep, definitely not enough real mosins, so let's start producing new ones
It looks like an airsoft gun.
It's just so weird to see a nagant that's not fucked and super old.

Not even old but the molot one looks way too clean. Like even nuggets from the 30s in good condition have this nice coloration to it. The new one looks... plain
notice the calibre, btw.
Didn't even notice that.
Hey... Hey guys, I've got it. I have THE idea.
We're going to make new production Mosin 91/30 that will cost more than surplus (rumored)....
AND It's going to cost 4x as much to shoot!
I should buy a nugget.
I should buy a nugget.
As soon as i get a job, a nugget is first on my list of things to acquire. I dont remember how much is in my bank account, but although i think i could afford one right now im not even going to give that thought the time of day. Not until im financially stable.
I should buy a nugget.
An M44 Mosin is the next thing I will purchase.

This is an exciting prospect.

A long time ago I wanted an M44 or an M38 but for what they're going for now? They're not really worth the price. The Type 53, the Chinese one, is a little more reasonable when it comes to price but the wood on all the ones I have seen look awful.
An M44 can be had for pretty well under $200 before shipping/transfer if you look a little. They're a bit more than your average Nagant, but the regular ones are a little unwieldy IMO so it's worth it, especially for a gun that only costs $150 to begin with.

I mean, I've only ever seen them in gunstores and at gunshows for no lower than $250, A cursory glance at gunbroker shows the top listed as no lower than $220.
When i was at camden military our commandant had an m44 on a plaque on the wall
at the time i didnt know what it was but i later learned it was a mosin, but it was a short mosin so it must have been an m44
I just choked in my coffee watching this.
what makes you think 7,62 x 54 mm R is any less expensive in russia than 7,62 x 51 mm?
Because there are cases upon cases of 7.62 x 54mmR that have just been laying around for years.
what makes you think 7,62 x 54 mm R is any less expensive in russia than 7,62 x 51 mm?
Probably because 7.62x54 is a cartridge used by their army while the 7.62x51 is a NATO round. They probably have millions of cases left over from the cold war.
I imagine you would find 54r in parking lots in Russia like you would find pennies in parking lots here.
They probably use 7.62x54R as currency in their metros.

I was talking about in the US, where they will inevitably end up. But joost is right regardless.
