Zenit does make airsoft parts now iirc, or at the very least they're coming out soon. Otherwise there's now 1-2 brands that do Zenit repros for airsoft.

I'm guessing the front end is a sort of barrel shroud attached to the frame and doesn't recoild back with the barrel

I really don't get why that figure is painted like that.

It'd be nice to know why Koji isn't using real-world weapon designs for MGSV. I'd have loved for the guards in GZ to all be wielding M16A1s or A2s but the weird K2/SR-88/SAR-80/FAL hybrid they've got is pretty awesome and the carbine version Big Boss has looks great too.

Actually, aparrently Tokyo Marui helped design the guns but it still doesn't explain why they opted not to go with real guns. I hope it means we get airsoft versions of some of the GZ/TPP guns.
