you know what, I'm going to actually try that
There is a certain, fictional character that I've always wanted to write a song about
:smug: start taking guesses SolidSnake52
First guesses: Kaji or Shinji :v:
Tonight I learned:
even my desktop can't handle a line in bass recording.
and American Idiot
I myself acutally never bother myself with learning covers.
I only use certain covers as practices or warming up exercizes.
I only want to learn the structure of interesting riffs so I can adapt them to my own style.
I have no idea what my own style is, all I know is that I have one. I should make a pure improv video once.
I find it way more enjoyable to compose my own music or to improvise on the spot.
I see that all my sentences start with I.
Am I the only one who prefers this?

No, I play this way too. When I hear an awesome song I get inspired by the song and starts improviwsing with the song in mind, I don't learn to play it
Finished cutting my V's (we made a clone of it) with a band saw.

Still need to do sanding, routing etc, and we are gonna make the back, where the neck will go, shaped to my hand.
Looking awesome dude.

Capped this because at present it's perfect and I'm 100% sure someone's gonna wreck it.

Yeah we're all bros here.
fucking hell $205 for a neck
Well yeah, it's made to fit the Fender standards.
I don't like what's going on with that body. The tailpiece is way too close to the end of the body imo
You don't know this guy?
-snip-
Drill some small holes in your pick perhaps
That's an idea.
I dunno, today I had no problems with it thanks to good ole' Wisconsin cold. Maybe I can just only play in blizzards.
But yeah, I'll try that on a nylon standard and a tortex and see what happens. I suppose the other thing with like the ultexes would be wrapping my fingers with electrical tape, sticky side out.

'80s thrash tone is best tone
Im starting to dig the shape of a rickenbacker 4003 but I really dont know how they sound when it comes to metal. If I were to buy one I would be using it in this style of music:

Think it would work?
Cliff Burton used a Ric, Lemmy does too.
all you need to know to find out what they're like
Does anyone else feel interested in drums?
Air drumming ftw.
Drums are always fun. Never any good at them, but I never played for more than a couple weeks at a time. More of a drum machine + keyboard/pad guy.
I'd like to be able to play drums... But I have absolutely no coordination :frown:
You play the fucking guitar! Unless the genre of music you play ends in -core, you have a modicum of coordination.
I play keyboard drums.
You play the fucking guitar!
Well... not very well....
and oh well :v:
I've got a friend who plays drums guitar bass and sings..
Basically could put together a whole song by himself :v:
I play keyboard drums.
Oh, that too also.
And this.

First experience with a looper:

First lesson learned: Don't use more than 2 distorted guitars at once unless you know what you doing and pressing the loop button in the perfect time with the beat is a bitch.
But seriously, playing with yourself is fun.

I am the drummer in my experimental groove/nu-metal band (8 strings guitars :buddy:) Although guitar is my first hobby, drums make more fun to play alone by itself than guitar in my opinion. (If you are really good at it I mean) You don't even need to headbang to unleash the power you have, you just hit the fucking drum harder and get satisfied :buddy:
It also helps me expand my musicality, I never could know that it influences my guitar playing so much! Seriously, learn to play drums good after you mastered the guitar then you realize that there is shitton added to the awesomeness, the way you write guitar riffs and the way you groove just get a big noticable bonus.

Masturbation is great for the right arm.
Masturbation is great for the right arm.
Yea ok but what about the left arm? Muscle decrease?
I start my VET course on the music industry tomorrow :eng101: Should be fun I hope.
Yea ok but what about the left arm? Muscle decrease?
Masturbation is similar to some picking styles in movement.
First guesses: Kaji or Shinji :v:
Nope, keep going :v:
Also back on topic, I'm going to buy a new amp soon, what wattage line six should I get? :smug:
Nah seriously, what is a decent amp under $300 that is good for high gain and distortion tones?

Won't say nothing about effects because we already know that they are quality. One thing that bothered me is preamp and amp modulation - they turned out to be great. Tickering with sonar le that was bundled and will try to record something.
Wow, the COSM thing is really flawless in my opinion. The sound is so clear and nice is it I'm playing with maximum drive or minimum of it. And tone never makes it worse no matter in what position. I'm impressed.
It's.. Beautiful....

Why would you even bring that up...
Made another try at byob using direct recording, using my own settings on me25

Three layers: Overheads and bass from original song and guitar recorded by me completely. Please listen and say what you think?
Been playing for 10 months and 10 days today Yay
