Please listen and say what you think?
Either the bass or the guitar is way out of tune. Ignoring that, the guitar sounds awesome.

Been playing for 10 months and 10 days today Yay The setup: [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/46427fd173abbd7c53fa168e019c572b.png[/img_thumb]
Very clean for a SoaD cover, but I think the tone is too warm. Just my opinion though. [editline]1st February 2011[/editline] And yes, the guitar is not in tune with the bass.
And yes, the guitar is not in tune with the bass.
I'm still familiarizing myself with the processor, I may have screwed up at the tone settings somewhere.
That's a great photo
And that Ibanez looks kewl. And I'm amazed by its sound, considering the fact that it's somewhat cheap.
And that Ibanez looks kewl. And I'm amazed by its sound, considering the fact that it's somewhat cheap.
It looks like something you get with a starter pack.
I thought he said it was one earlier in the thread.
It looks like something you get with a starter pack.
It is.
Sooo I'm probably gonna buy a new guitar. I play mostly metal and I've been eyeing ESP and Jackson guitars but I'm not sure wether I want EMG/Seymours (Active/Passive). I plug into big amps on band rehearsal and live concerts but not at home. How can I be steered to the right direction?

Because real ESP's, as opposed to their LTD counterparts, can be very expensive.
Learning Hail To Fire - Mastodon fucking amazing song
Here's a more important question. Are you rich? Because real ESP's, as opposed to their LTD counterparts, can be very expensive.
Yeah, and the ones you love probably are so uncommon, it is hard to find :saddowns:
haven't updated on my guitar project in a while, after a few days of wiring, soldering, praying and cursing i finally got it to work! and by god it's a mess! it's pretty solid now though, i'm going to put the new strings on it now and tune the lot, i'm going from .9 to .10 i'm not a hero at that so wish me luck.
What would you choose, LTD by ESP EC - 200QM (See Thru Black Cherry) Epiphone LP Special II (black or orange) [sp]and why[/sp]

We are talking right now. And he doesn't listen to my opinion.
The top one just because it has the most sexy fretboard and looks the best overall and because the brand is also quite good in general. The finish of the bottom one would ook awesome on the top guitar.
please this is beginners knowledge you don't buy epiphone specials
please this is beginners knowledge you don't buy epiphone specials
Why not
I wouldn't buy any Les Paul to begin with...
I wouldn't buy any Les Paul to begin with...
But, but. Dat sustain.
But, but. Dat sustain.
If the playability was good enough (maybe a personal thing) I would have a Les Paul because they're just so sexy, but sadly that isn't the case.
Why not
Because they are terrible quality [editline]1st February 2011[/editline] get the ltd, easy
personally i wouldn't get either of those two. i've become gradually more interested in the fender telecasters, but i barely think thats the sound you're going for. the LTD does look very hot though, i would pick that out of the three. but mainly because epiphone specials are... bad.
How do you guys hold your pick? Found out I can play some triplets easier if I hold it on the middle joint of the index finger. Either that or i can angle it a big so it's kinda sideways(/) to the strings, but it sounds stratchy.
Wtf? Why is it pointing upwards?
So the picture shows the whole hand.
Good then. Thought I was a weirdo. :P
Good then. Thought I was a weirdo. :P
You are and so am I. Every one is weird in one aspect or another.
