[QUOTE=En-Guage V2;27884365]Eight hours of playing a day?
Fuck[/QUOTE]
How else could I progress so fast in one year?
I couldn't do that, that's crazy
I don't even have 8 hours a day to do the things I want.
[QUOTE=En-Guage V2;27884391]I couldn't do that, that's crazy

On a school day me neither but I still can get 4 hours out of it.
So on saturday and sunday it is 8 hours a day and on week days 4 hours.
It seems like I have played 1872 hours since I've began playing bass.
I started a year or so ago.
That's not bad, I have 2 hrs of guitar in the morning at school, 2 hrs of guitar at end of school, then at home when i waste my time not doing my homework, playing guitar. Run on sentence :D
It's gotten to the point where my fingers click whenever I play the piano. I thought it was my fingernails, it was my finger calices
I at minimum try to play once a day, for a minimum of 30 minutes. Lately though, I've been playing like 3 hours a day.
I can't remember the last time I didn't play at all in a day
[editline]6th February 2011[/editline]
also you guys suck for missing the reference in my post about kab mailing me that guitar

How old are you exactly?
[editline]6th February 2011[/editline]
Since last summer holidays I played a lot less, slacked off
It used to be an hour and a half a day during the week. It was the only time I could scrape together
Honestly, I dislike classic guitars. I find them pretty bland-sounding and everyone and their mother has one. It's annoying seeing everybody playing the same songs all the time while everybody sings along. But then again, I can't blame the instrument for that.
How can you dislike Classical Guitars? They are awesome.

I used to play like, 20 minutes a day..
At my very best moment in the holidays I'd play an hour.
I've got a friend who plays 2 hours a night without fail,
then has band practice on weekends.
I used to play for that long in the beginning
[QUOTE=absinthe;27881127]you should buy one for me
[editline]5th February 2011[/editline]

What the fuck made you think that was a good idea?
[QUOTE=SolidSnake52;27891793]What the fuck made you think that was a good idea?[/QUOTE]
My misguided idiocy of thinking chunkier strings = better
On the upside I discovered that the human body has the astonishing capabiliy of replicating the bicep muscle in your fingers.
I'm gonna be putting .15s on my 7 once I defret it. Flatwounds are enormous :byodood:
I played my steel string for 4 hours straight last night after a long time of just using my electric, mostly finger picking. My fingers hurt quite a bit but it was so worth it

Prepare for the flesh death of your fingers and the microfracture of your finger tips.
On the upside you'll then be able to stab concrete with your fingers and feel no pain.
Well not as much pain, your joints will still cry like a woman giving birth to the fattest kid ever.

Flatwounds biatch. No bends and 1/4mm action

Fretless guitars are awesome, a shame that you don't see them much.

I mean damn.
Does he have inlays on the side of the neck so he has an idea of where to play, or is it all memorized?
Pretty sure Vigier use side dots on their fretlesses. I've yet to be able to try one though :saddowns:
I had a phase with huge strings also.
I ended up keeping the 14 lows, buying a set of 13 and using those as high, then using a high B as my E (.14 from a set of 9s i think). -edited- it was from a set of 10s.
I have a live recording somewhere where I used it, it sounds great minus the mic.
[editline]6th February 2011[/editline]
Also, needless to say, I buy my strings separate from my local store, or online.

was hoping to get a djent sound but i didn't with these h4 pickups.
Dynamic palm muting is great.
I remember when I subconsciously played guitar for nearly 10 hours a day
everything I did that required sitting down meant I would have my guitar in my hands
even going on the toilet
