I had a jam session with a jazz drummer, and I am metal guitar :v: and we played some interesting stuff. He also showed me how to mic stuff well, and he brought his SM57 [editline]7th February 2011[/editline] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10823940/Black%20Sea.mid Here is a track I am working on.

I practice at out drummer's house, his father is a luthier so on the wall there hang more than 8 €4400,- guitars. But they have neighbours so we can't play later than 10PM.
Oh my god! O_O
I'm jealous of all your awesome practicing spaces :saddowns:
I have a jam room/recording room that was built with that purpose in mind. [editline]7th February 2011[/editline] But it is not really that big, it fits drums well enough, and it is better than being just another storage room.
RIP Gary Moore. Thanks for all the music!
Amp fits snugly under my desk. awwhh yeah :smug:
RIP Gary Moore. Thanks for all the music!
I was about to post something along the lines of: It's been a day and none of you have noticed it? But then you came along.
i just learned playing still got the blues in memory of Gary Moore, RIP to a blues legend.
I'm learning The Loner atm. related
Store clerk forgot to give my guitar to the tech, it's been 2 weeks and nothing has been done. I'm gonna pick it up again today as it's still playable and the tech is "busy" anyway... I can't miss my baby any longer :smith:
Demand a free setup, that's a fucking joke
i have learned the basic guitar chords and it only took me roughly a month and a half :buddy: now i need to practice switching between them go go go
Ohhh man she's in my hands again :3: It sucks so much that my pickups are the problem.. I always use my bridge pickup as a pinky resting spot.. 60% of the time i'm playing I touch the pickup. It buzzes horribly when I do... :saddowns:
Strat?
Ibanez RG series, dimarzio crunch lab and liquifire, i have a strat too but that thing barely ever buzzes :buddy: [editline]8th February 2011[/editline] a guy on ss.org said it might be because of the ground wires not being attached properly, i'm killing the tech if this is the case

Not trying to sound rude, but save you money perhaps.
if he's anything like me then he won't want to mess with the electrics in case something fucks up and ends up costing more
I always forget a soldering iron is like wizardry to 70% of the world. Anyhizzle, tomorrow I'm going to go buy some SHARP ASS PICKS, because it seems my ultex sharps are all I feel comfortable with for alternate picking now. What should I try beyond Jazz IIIs? I thought Clayton made a sharp triangle but their QC worries me.
also what is a good small bass amp I could use alongside my bandmates' 3 other amps at practice? I can't haul my 80W, and my my friend has to haul 2 which isn't really fair on him [editline]8th February 2011[/editline]
I always forget a soldering iron is like wizardry to 70% of the world.
I can weld they're the same right
no [editline]8th February 2011[/editline] soldering is about 200% more precision work. and you use solder to just melt the solder, not the faces you are attaching to eachother, also soldering isn't mainly for attaching things but generally for making connections.

They're definitely similar, even if most soldering doesn't involve much if any collusion between any of the materials involved.
if he's anything like me then he won't want to mess with the electrics in case something fucks up and ends up costing more
You're right, i don't have the tools and expertise to do it myself. Anyways, just played for a few hours, i found a way to avoid the noise for the time being, just don't touch the pickup :3: And yes i'm getting it fixed for free, i demanded that when i visited the store today, the clerk said he agreed with it. I don't care about costs either way, i just want my guitar to work the way it should... Oh well.

Soldering things and having them work is easy. What is harder is making the soldering look nice. I do pretty crappy soldering jobs, but they all work, they just don't look good.
what's this? :iiam: that's what
Can anyone recommend a five string bass at a fair price?
