Hahah, oh wow that would have been epic
How'd you manage that
Tripped over a cable, because our singer was thick enough to walk AROUND me while holding a microphone that was plugged in...
lol, oh god your mates would never let you live that one down
I know I wouldn't :v:
Did I mention that I tried the Morpheus Droptune pedal the other day?
It's shit.
So at the music festival the band is playing an original, and I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness
my respect goes out to the people who play gigs
I'd shit my pants, I can't even play in front of 2 people let alone a small crowd
I shit my pants when playing in front of friends.
But in front of a lot of people, most of them you don't know, I still shit my pants sometimes.
Get some talc powder and put it on your nuts so you don't smell like ballsack, and then release all your fluids before you go on stage.
The first time I played live I had an out of body experience and was watching myself play a terribly improvised solo. This was a real solo in there was no band, just me.
First few gigs I did I just froze in place and played like a twig. Now I jump around and enjoy it.
You get used to it, I used to be the most shy person ever.

Every high-schooler I've seen preform just stands around and plays their instrument, even the singers.
Meanwhile, I can't help but leap about, headbang, strike poses and such, it just comes naturally.
Well I'm just saying I could never do it, so nervous. That's why I don't play with other people really
I used to get stage fright something fierce as a kid. You get over it, you just need exposure. Sometimes helps if your first is with a large enough ensemble.
Awww yeh totally nailed that one hard solo at yesterday's rehearsals, march 13th is gonna be a hell of a gig :smug:
got the new strings on my destroyer this morning
the low e string is so thick it barely fits in the nut :v:

I go to a private school and we have a boring chapel-type service every Friday. The only thing that makes it better is the fact that we have a band that plays during the chapel service. So, basically, I play a gig every Friday. :v:
is it part of the Rumble series?
yes are they good? i'm yet to test it out b/c of my bass :(
the Rumble 75 is an incredible amp.

How would I get my electric guitar to sound like

because right now, even with the amp plugged in, it sounds like an acoustic :tinfoil:
Lol, "best version", clearly he has ADHD.
Is it a small practice amp? Most will have basic distortion which you can turn on by pushing a button on there. Push any button that isn't the on/off button, but don't expect much from it if it is a basic little amp.
It has 7 dials and a channel select button
it's a 10 watt guitar amplifier with effects, apparently
Look for a knob that says "gain" and turn that up?
[editline]12th February 2011[/editline]
Make sure you're on the right channel. What amp is it?

Can someone give me some links on some decent not too expensive bass amps with watts ranging from 30 to 60, And it has to be a combo. Thanks in advance
