Is Behringer GM108 V-Tone a good amp?
I have a Behringer GMX212 V-Tone and absolutely hate it.

As do I, I've spent the last few months trying to sell it on Craigslist and have finally found a buyer for $100 which'll go straight into my "I want a 7 string" fund.
Elite. The 81/85 combo is the most definitive and well-known EMG combo. Though personally I think the X-series 81 and 85 sound even better.
81/60 :smug:

The Gibson version is barely obtainable.
Just got my first Fender.
Fender Tornado Deluxe series, the rare blonde finish with red turtuoise pickguard.
I can only say one thing about the sound, excellent.
What did i trade?
Some old crap i had laying around and 10 bux
They still make those?
oh man
in the music store, some guy brought in an 80's Ibanez strat copy. can't remember what it was called but it was this sweet ass candy apple red colour and it looked so fucking awesome
Guess what I'm getting for free.
That's right, a Carvin Legacy stack.
ibanez master race
I'm not even joking it was the sexiest thing ever
better than PRS, Schecter or anything imo
many will disagree

on a side note, the second guitarist in our band has one of these

fitted with Seymour Duncan Blackouts and Grover tuners. All the gold finish is gone apart from the pickup select. good thing too, I think gold looks really tacky on a guitar, chrome or black is best
i dont usually like the explorer but that is fucking beautiful
Is there such a thing as a thinline telecaster with a tremolo? Can't seem to find any in any music shops.
I think they're extremely rare.

I think it looks kinda classy in tandem with certain colors. Gretsch has some nice stuff with gold hardware.
Well, the fucker who was gonna sell me the ESP backed out at the last minute, so I need a new guitar/amp combo within the 400-500 dollar range. So far, I'm thinking about getting a Jackson Warrior and a Spider III 75 Watt, but I'm open to suggestions.

My friends dad has that exact guitar but in a 3-tone sunburst. It plays so good.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say the Ibanez Art100 and 15w Roland Cube again. No idea where you're finding those two at less than $700 combined, though.

I'll look into those, thanks. And I found the Warrior for 250$ on craigslist, and my friend has a Spider III that he would sell to me for ~80$.
Just finished learning Kick the Chair - Megadeth (rhythm of course), feels good man.

Peavey. Vypyr. Just trust me, it's got a much better range of tones.
Go play one in a music shop if you can.
Also, either an Epiphone or an Ibanez RG for a starter guitar, but that's just my personal preference.
I can second a mid range epi
They're good, I own one

Yeah just don't get one of the Epiphone "Special" models. They're not special at all, unless by special we're talking :downs:
Because they're awful. But their midrange instruments are actually really good. My SG-310 still plays great, even though I never use it now that I have my beautiful PRS.

I'm not really looking for a starter guitar, I've been playing for around a year and a half. I'm just looking for an upgrade. I'll check out the Vyper, though.

Ibanez RG series is still pretty bitchin' awesome if you like thin necks.
Otherwise, save up and get a PRS SE. They are astounding guitars for the price.
Yeah I'd like an RG
I'm ready to move up, but I don't have enough money. Gotta cut back on weed and get a new amp first of all

I'm pretty sure they sell Ibanez at the local guitar shop, so I'll check one out when I have the chance. Really hoping to get the Warrior, though.

Never played a Jackson so I can't comment on them.
The cheap LTD's that I've played were pretty "meh." Not bad, not that good. Their higher-priced guitars ($500-$900) were pretty good, but still I love my PRS so much more.
I borrowed a mates Jackson RR3 (which is like a mid-range Japan made Jackson) and it slays. After I set it up properly, it was awesome to play on. Sounded great too with the stock SD pickups.
ESP, Jackson, PRS all around $600+ are all awesome from what I've played.
Here are my guitars

This now the black strat.
