I have not seen scott pilgrim so I don't know what you're on about.
Most of the music is written by Beck and similar artists, the music was the best part of the movie really.
Also, I need pedals. What should i get
If you don't know what you should get, then you don't really need pedals, do you?
If you don't know what you should get, then you don't really need pedals, do you?
Well ya see i need good tonal pedals, but the music store isnt friendly when it comes to testing out pedals on different amps. They usually kick you out after 20 minutes, I planned on spending a week there being an absolute tone anal freak

I could spend the whole weekend playing the same guitar at my local guitar store and they could not give a fuck.
merely from a practical standpoint tabs are a better form of writing shit down sheet music just tells you what note to play tabs tell you where to play that note
Actually, most guitar scores have position indicators. Like, XI, means that the following notes should be played with your index finger on fret eleven
So, Metal Zone is good, what else? I recall selling my Metal Zone for a 1/4 of weed
So, Metal Zone is good, what else? I recall selling my Metal Zone for a 1/4 of weed
I'm getting this when I can afford it, it seems good http://www.thomann.de/se/electro_harmonix_metal_muff.htm?sid=4c95fba761a27ac027ed3224f8a3177b
I'm really bored with my music at the moment. Can anyone suggest some good bass lines to learn?
For fun? Traveller in Time by Uriah Heep. For difficulty? Siberian Khatru by Yes. Of course, if you want something that will take up some time, there's always http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/j/jethro_tull/thick_as_a_brick_ver3_tab.htm :v:

I think I've tried out the Metal zone, sounded terrible? It was atleast Metal something..
I think I've tried out the Metal zone, sounded terrible? People tend to either think they're awesome or fizzly shit, but they just sound like a generic distortion pedal to me.
MT2 = Good ML2 = Shite Digitech Death Metal = Sounds like the Line 6 metal channel *shudders*

Ibanez TS9 and the OD-808 are essentially the same pedal, since Maxon makes the TS9s and Ibanez puts its brand on it. Maxon is cheaper though.
For those who want to learn a groovy song for bass try Short Skirt/Long Jacket by Cake.
I have heard good things about the HardWire TL-2
I have a TL-2, it is great.
Have some random playing by me, just to let you all hear my bass. I can play a lot better than this though. Check out my bass face at the end.

white stripes - seven nation army it's a little step up in difficulty from opeth but I think you should be able to handle it
I'm looking for a song that doesn't require you to be Eddie Van Halen, so The White Stripes is obviously out of the question
I'm looking for a song that doesn't require you to be Eddie Van Halen, so The White Stripes is obviously out of the question
Are you serious
I'm looking for a song that doesn't require you to be Eddie Van Halen, so The White Stripes is obviously out of the question
Any Primus song is fun on any instrument. Or try some Symphony X songs.

[editline]25th February 2011[/editline] Like I could totally see myself being in a dark forest in the middle of nowhere and hearing that thing echo in the distance. OH GOD IT'S COMING FOR US!
