Hrm do Distortion peddles have the same annoyance that the gain knob brings? It sucks trying to play Raining Blood fast because I always lightly touch a string I'm not supposed to and it drowns out all the other fucking sound because of how goddamn finicky gain makes the strings.

Playing with really high gain is a good indicator as to if you're playing is clean or sloppy.

Turning gain down? What are you talking about it should always be at 10. [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Or I should stop playing drone.

I prefer mine at 10, but I play on an Orange so I need all the gain I can get really. I always turn it down to 7-8 though when I'm playing rock.

I wish the volume knob on my Strat went to 11.

My Gain on my TL-2 is at 5-6, or 12-1 O'clock

It was a waste of time, did not feel/sound remotely as good as my Jazz 3s.
