Yea, for sperm
I wouldn't mind wall mounts but I got no where to put them.

Uhhhh
No
When the hell is Devin Townsend going to release his baritone V already. I have mega GAS for one.
Going to get a new guitar for my birthday
Now I just gotta start saving to pay for half, and decide which I want. Must be the only person to get a new guitar before a new amp.
Learning dragonheads at the moment. By Ensiferum :smug:
So, I've just picked up a guitar and I want to start playing it. Here is a pic.

Can someone explain the nobs on the front for me? It says volume (which ofcourse is obvious) and then 2x 'tone'. If you want I'll also snatch a pic of my amp.
Volume is volume, the middle knob is the tone for the neck pickup and the right knob is the tone for the middle pickup
Set everything on the guitar to ten
Just found this http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-PRO-SET-NECK-LP-w-EMGs-DISTRESSED-ELECTRIC-GUITAR-/150567964897?pt=Guitar&hash=item230e8cd0e1
Almost seems too good to be true. Pickups probably suck since they are just EMG designed.
Pickups probably sucked since they are just EMG designed though.
That was the funniest thing I've ever read
I am actually considering getting this though, http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-HI-PRO-APPOINTED-M-KELLY-STAGE-VEX-ELECTRIC-GUITAR-/150566436100?pt=Guitar&hash=item230e757d04
Normally $650. Not very common either.

Hrm do Distortion peddles have the same annoyance that the gain knob brings?
It sucks trying to play Raining Blood fast because I always lightly touch a string I'm not supposed to and it drowns out all the other fucking sound because of how goddamn finicky gain makes the strings.

Turn the gain down?

You need to work on your technique. Playing with really high gain is a good indicator as to if you're playing is clean or sloppy.
Turning gain down?
What are you talking about it should always be at 10.
[editline]27th February 2011[/editline]
Or I should stop playing drone.
I prefer mine at 10, but I play on an Orange so I need all the gain I can get really.
I always turn it down to 7-8 though when I'm playing rock.
I wish the volume knob on my Strat went to 11.
My Gain on my TL-2 is at 5-6, or 12-1 O'clock

I always keep my colume and tone nobs on my guitars at around 7 or so, amp does the rest of the work.

I personally like to keep my colume nob at five
I've found that colume is a very important part of my sound

This makes me wish I played guitar, just so I could have a reason for making loads of picks.
25 dollars for that is kind of expensive
cool nonetheless
Any suggestions on campfire/sing alongs songs? Strumming acoustic stuff. Im going on a student exchange to holand, i need entertain the masses :)

I painstakingly cut a pick out of a CD, and sanded the edges and everything so it was nice and smooth to hold. It was a waste of time, did not feel/sound remotely as good as my Jazz 3s.
