I personally like to keep my colume nob at five I've found that colume is a very important part of my sound
Go away I recently had a shit ton of chinese food now I feel like shit. The keys are right next to eachother COME ON.
what are good improv pick materials then? I can sand them down and everything easy at school since I do both woodworking and metalworking courses, and I could cut them at home if necessary

Probably getting an Epi dot next week. Yay. :D
Cool. As long as you're talking about making custom-ish picks I tried filing down some of my massive amounts of unused shit people leave with me to some different types of sharp tip. Had a tortex one I was kinda liking but heavy attack + that bullshit "memory" warping means it now has a giant-ass bend in it.
Hahah, after this kid wants me to fix his strat, another friend of mine wants me to fix his ibby. Well looks like I got a job...
I'm not in the mood to take pics so I'll pull up studio photos Fender Starcaster: ESP LTD F-10: and I have a Peavy VYPYR amp: and I have a custom pick I made from metal that sounds amazing and it's in like a trapazoid shape and it's all sanded and shiny :D
They had an Ibanez 7321 at my Guitar Center that I'll hopefully be getting as a graduation gift in a few months.
I've been playing guitar for 2 years and I still can't change strings
What digital effects do you guys like to use? I own a Digitech RP200, and I like to use the Digital Delay. Wah is also great, depending on what you're playing. With the Digital Delay, I like to use a lot of palm mutes, and pick quickly on the EADG, when the delay syncs up, it sounds great. But it sounds like crap on the higher B and E strings. For tapping segments, I like to use the Digital Delay, but speed it up a bit, and take the gain down quite a few notches. Also, I am using a Line 6 Amp (Can't remember the model) and it plays at 175 watts. I own 3 Guitars, and a left-handed bass that my little brother refuses to play, so I adopted it. Guitar 1 - Epiphone Acoustic PR-4ENA Guitar 2 - Yamaha F335 Guitar 3 - Epiphone Z Bass - Off Brand, "SX" I believe. The acoustics play pretty damn well. The only problem I have is with the Epiphone one, the action seems a bit high, and the frets stick out slightly at the top of the neck near the head. They cut my fingers sometimes. The Electric is actually very nice for the price I paid. Very light, the neck is nice once it's rubbed down a little, and the action is perfect. The only problem I have with that one is that the killswitch on it malfunctions from time to time. I've learned that the "Elixir Ultra Light" strings are fucking amazing in sound quality, and just quality in general. They last for a veeeeeeeery long time, and sound so sweet, I cream my panties. I have that set on my Epiphone Acoustic, a set of D'Addario Custom Lights on my Yamaha (kick ass strings too), a set of Super Slinkies on my Electric, and the bass, not a damn clue. Just stock strings, I guess.
I have an EQ pedal and Distortion, I would like to get a delay at one point.
Go ahead and hate on the band all you want, but try and tell me he doesn't have an amazing tone.
Kind of reminds me of Nickelback, but pretty good tone.
Check your cables, some cables after a while develop a bias on one side of the jack, so the position of the cable input can matter, try spinning the jack clockwise. Also check your volume knobs as the pots can cause buzzing depending on the current volume, try messing with them.
Kind of reminds me of Nickelback, but pretty good tone.
I don't see that resemblance but I think they're just as generic.
I don't see that resemblance but I think they're just as generic.
That's what I meant, both generic sounding bands.
When you guys say gain at 10 do you mean 10 o'clock or 100%?
I have an EQ pedal and Distortion, I would like to get a delay at one point.
Get hardwire delay so we can be even further hardwire buddies :respek:
I have an EQ pedal and Distortion, I would like to get a delay at one point.
My birthday March 13th, I asked for the BOSS Equalizer and an MT2

Wow capo's are expensive now fuck
okay what is the best way to change strings I've had the same set on my SG for at least a year
Are you insane Get out of my thread Ok sorry that was rude, but if you play often you should change your strings at minimum every 6 weeks.
My birthday March 13th, I asked for the BOSS Equalizer and an MT2
The MT2 sucks unless it's modded. You'd be better going for a Hardwire distortion or pretty much anything else. The MT2 is a mess
I don't have enough money to spend money on strings every six weeks Now answer my question
I have 6 guitars, 2 of them get string changes every 2 months or so, the rest I leave. I need to restring my 8, but I hate my 7 too much to be interested
Ok sorry that was rude, but if you play often you should change your strings at minimum every 6 weeks.
I had had the same strings on my guitar for over a year. Then I decided to change them all. Didn't notice any difference in tone or playability. So from now on I only change strings when I break them (which never happens :D). Save them big bucks!!
okay what is the best way to change strings
Just change them?
Are you insane Get out of my thread Ok sorry that was rude, but if you play often you should change your strings at minimum every 6 weeks.
when my bass strings cost almost 3x as much as guitar strings, I think I'm justified in waiting to replace them (my Dean has had the same strings for 2-3 months, my first bass has the same ones I put on it at least 6 months ago, my Shine, roughly 2 months with the same strings)
Basses can last a lot longer with strings. Hell I saw a 1964 P Bass with it's original strings
The MT2 sucks unless it's modded. You'd be better going for a Hardwire distortion or pretty much anything else. The MT2 is a mess
Suggest me a good BOSS Pedal
