My 7 is a pretty poopy neck overall to be honest. Too thin, gammy frets. But it was cheap and it's solid so it's getting the fuck modded out of it. My 8 was a blind buy and the neck is pretty good. Problem is, Agiles appear once in forever over in the UK and getting them shipped over from Rondomusic means no warranty and getting punched in the dick by customs
Damn it! Thicker strings didn't help with sustain, and now my Edge III is at a bullshit angle. Fffffffffff.
okay but my Dean has a D shaped neck

Your Dean is a bass
I think he's referring to the guitars

Wow I really need to practice my tremolo picking
Sorry, but replacing necks with cocks in last few posts is amazing.
Do it. I dare you.

Are you just worried about a warranty so you're covered if it shows up broken? Because if you're willing to foot international shipping for it and a solid hardcase you could probably get a U.S. facepuncher to relay one to you.
I can't imagine why else you'd want one, I don't have a warranty on mine.

Anyway, can somebody explain to me what kind of exercise you do to you pinky so it sits solid on a
eh fuck the name's not coming to me a say you've got an F# major with an augmented second and the fourth above in there too or whatever the fuck it is
you're doing 5799 with index/ring/pinkyx2 or index/middle/ringx2
I can never get the fourth to sound clean unless I'm doing it with my ring finger. What do I do to fix this pinky weakness?
Exercise?
A girl.
Your toothpick neck can suck me. I'd rather play a baseball bat neck, which makes ERG's so bloody difficult to find for me :saddowns: Might nab a Schecter at some point, but I find them really unappealing apart from mine. HOWEVER. M-M-MAPLE neck, alder body, and pickups that can be splitted so that they sound exactly like singlecoils and have that quacky tone as well.
Trying to get into lead guitar, I've never played a solo before, and I'm starting with the solo to Planet Caravan, by Black Sabbath. Any tips?

5 piece Purple Heart/Wenge neck with Ebony fretboard (Conklin style yo). Neck through body with alder sides and Zebrawood top.

For lead guitar, definitely take time to learn and revise your scales. Amazingly useful.

Play it sloooow. I'm using too many o's to emphasize the slow. But really, play it slow first and then slowly increase speed. Learn little parts and repeat them until you master them.`Most solos aren't bad at all if you practice slowly and break it into small parts.

Im playing rock n roll and bluesy stuff, been playing for a year already so my skill level is that im okay at it but im looking to invest some more into guitar.
Get a strat
I seem to be taking a break from intense guitar work into doing intense piano work which is aimed at making me decent at the piano. I make a lot of music by myself and in my band I have a drummer, keyboardist, bass player, and two guitarist of which one usually plays lead. I'm the singer and lead guitarist, although every once in a while I go on bass to play something funky. The keyboardist in my band is lacking so I'm trying to whip him into shape. Or is it a girl? That would be different. Now I'm tempted to make up names and persona's for the people in my band and write fictional fights that happen. Maybe the bass player has a load of chicks after him, but he can't take interest in them because he's dating the keyboardist and she is overly jealous. One thing is for sure, the bass player needs a beastly name.

I'd say go for it then.
An SG would work great for that, and being you've only really played a year I'd say it's a perfect choice. In my experience I'd say the SG Special is awesome for Beginning/Intermediately skilled players.

Really, the Epi SG Special? I didn't like them. I'd at least get the G-310, which is what I have (and had since I started). No real problems with it, I just prefer EMG's and wanted a 24th fret.

and to think devin townsend only had one other personality
I think there is something a bit wrong with me because a bit earlier it felt like I was playing Super Meat Boy except with the text I was typing. I don't think I took any drugs except what I'm prescribed. Sleep may be the best course of action.
could just be an attention whore too
Sure, though what he said didn't sound that odd, except that he forgot to explain what the fuck he was on about.
If you're a one or limited man band project, you sometimes manufacturer personalities for the other "members." See: Gorillaz. That was just not providing context with a bad explanation.
you already put too much thought into it
