I was just goofing around in Photoshop, what do you guys think. I am not much of an artist mind you :hehe:
Really, the Epi SG Special? I didn't like them. I'd at least get the G-310, which is what I have (and had since I started). No real problems with it, I just prefer EMG's and wanted a 24th fret.
I definitely agree. I do like the G-310 much better. I figured the Special was his only option though. Now I want photoshop to do that, damn you Kab!
Throw on a 7th string, keep it hardtail, and show ESP what their next guitar should be.
Well, I'll have to tell you guys that that is hopefully what my custom build is gonna look like when it is done! We are definitely getting it professionally painted though. Here are the specs: Jackson Bolt-On Maple/Rosewood neck 2-Piece Alder wood, calling the lumber mill tomorrow! Rhandy Rhoads Shaped body Dimarzio Crunchlab/Liquifire pickups Gotoh Bridge, but this is still undecided on what we are gonna do. I personally don't want tremolos anymore. Grover Mini Locking Rotomatics 1-tone, 1-volume 3-way toggle switch
I quite like Santana's new album

Just got a pretty sweet tone out of my amp.
Sounds really fugly to my ear. Was that a part of a song or were you just playing around?
I've got a bass and I don't think the strings have been changed for two years. How do you know when try to change bass strings? They still sound and look fine. I'm sure new ones would sound better, but I don't know how much better and if it is needed.

Holy shit, hit up a guitar shop today and played this rad mother fucker: http://www.thomann.de/gb/epiphone_lp_studio_worn_brown.htm Tuned it up, plucked a low E. Without an amp, that E lasted easily five times as long as my RG could do with distortion. It's pickups are way closer to my ideal sound too, I think I have fallen in love. If I can, I will exchange my RG for the Epi.
I seem to be taking a break from intense guitar work into doing intense piano work which is aimed at making me decent at the piano. I make a lot of music by myself and in my band I have a drummer, keyboardist, bass player, and two guitarist of which one usually plays lead. I'm the singer and lead guitarist, although every once in a while I go on bass to play something funky. The keyboardist in my band is lacking so I'm trying to whip him into shape. Or is it a girl? That would be different. Now I'm tempted to make up names and persona's for the people in my band and write fictional fights that happen. Maybe the bass player has a load of chicks after him, but he can't take interest in them because he's dating the keyboardist and she is overly jealous. One thing is for sure, the bass player needs a beastly name.
Steve Kilmister [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Defiantly Kilmister as the surname, I'm going for Ieuan Kilmister as my stage name for my school's Christmas concert. [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] I am looking for a bass guitar, above £200 and below £300, but the upper range is a little bit flexible as it's coming from my bank account . I play metal and hard rock, and I'd like my bass to be a five string. I've been looking at the Epiphone Thunderbird and while it's above my budget it looks like something that will last. [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Oh and it has to be hardy, I have an aggressive playing style.

What's wrong with the Thunderbird, I was having a few recommendations for it.

Anyway, the Thunderbird may look awesome, but it has a huge neckdive and therefore is very uncomfortable to play. Plus the hardware and the electronics are crap.
Tele.
I tried it today, it was awesome. (Fender American Deluxe Telecaster) Also, I'm going to look at Ibanez guitars in two days.
Anyone here ever bought the Harley Benton V30 form Thomann? (German store) How's the build quality?
