It was just band practice so we weren't really fuffed. His strings were in said bass for 4 years though. He's sending it to reykjavík to get it all nice and set up and fixed up though.
They're gonna need an angle grinder to get all the shit off that bass's fretboard
Yeah, he kind of stopped using it for so long, (He's in another band, they just play rock and roll, and uses his Fender Jazz Bass which is kept in pristine condition).
I wish I had a band :saddowns:
I wish I had a band :saddowns:
Let's form a band together!
CAN I BE THE GROUPIE /caps
I call tambourine.
I call tambourine.
I'll do triangle.
My Shecter Hellraiser C-1. I love it so much. The orange smudge isn't actually on the guitar I think it's a reflection of the light. I also have a Martin acoustic guitar, D-18 or something I can't exactly remember. Beautiful guitar, I unfortunately don't have a photo of it.
You gave me an idea to create a tambourine triangle hybrid. I'm calling it the tamborangle.
Hellraisers are beautiful
Hellraisers are beautiful
They are pretty awesome, and I like how Schecter has a lot of V's (Pointing at you ESP!) I still prefer my Deluxe H-1001FM though.
SO a week ago my guitar fell off it's stand (DISASTER!) and luckily only the nut got knocked loose. Took it to a guitar tech who did a shoddy job gluing it back on, it was like / when it should be like |. It actually came off when I was replacing strings. I sanded the excess glue off of the nut and everything, and wood glue'd it back on. Then I said fuck it and just cleaned everything and set it up. It was my first real set up/repair and it feels good man.
The pedal is supposed to work like that. There's no spring. You just step on the opposite end of the pedal to bring it back up.
Huh...well I know my 95Q has a spring.
Also, both have reversed headstock right?
Correct.
A bass string breaking? I've never seen that.
Big Elf's bassist had a string snap mid-song during Progressive Nation 2009 just a town over from me when I saw them, he had to switch basses during the song. Made a terrible sound, and I was dumbfounded.

Some weeks ago, for some reason, I decided to practice some snowskating tricks in my room and as the result my guitar fell off of its stand too. I was lucky, no major cracks or anything, still stays in tune. *phew*

[editline]20th December 2010[/editline]
Correct.
Okay then, I think your JS1 has Alder body, and my JS1R has -strange wood not commonly used here- That is the only difference.

But, the C-1 has coil splitting EMG's. It's really just brand preference, and whether you care for the abalone necks/coil splitting, and I lurve my ESPs. They all are more or less the same guitars.
lol, I just like how it looks I don't know much about it first hand or the hardware options I've just seen them in shops before, I've never played one
I wish Schecters weren't so expensive
Not all of them are, in my city you can pick up an Omen 6 for about $300 AUD
I just found a crack on the headstock of my SG, probably from when it fell of it's stand, but I don't seem to have any tuning problems. There is a god.
There is a god.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Lol good one there
I wish Schecters weren't so expensive
If you're in the UK, it's the distributor's fault. About 2-3 years ago they went from one distributor to another, with the last one selling them for what they were worth, and this one gouging the shit out of the UK for them. This sadly was coupled with a massive spike in their popularity, which means they continually get away with it. Even though I love my Schecter I don't think I'll be buying another one. I just don't believe they are worth what they cost any more
I'm kidding guys, calm down :buddy:
