Does anyone know about a guitar that looks similar to this, but doesn't cost fucking €3550?

'dat neck pickup...
I think you're looking for a hybrid between PRS and Music Man here, take a look at those.
It is beautiful, I love that colour
First thing thought of as a look-a-like was a Musicman Steve Morse Signature, though it has no trem. The only colour that seems to have the binding is a bit of a marmite affair
Musicman's Pacific blue burst is well nice though
I want a Mesa amp so bad.. It sucks to have to use an effect pedal + combo amp, the high gain i have sounds like shit compared to a Mark.

EDIT: Obligatory DJENT DJENT DJENT in part 2, somewhere around 4 minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i24e8icZG1o&feature=related

I have yet to find any gain that produces good distortion ON the amp that sounds as good as my Mark IIC. Fender's small Frontman 25R sounds kinda bad with distortion, but in clean + distortion from a pedal, it sounds good.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
EDIT: OH MY EFFING GOD I FIXED MY SOUND. Turns out i had my distortion's EQ turned up too much, it interfered with my amp's EQ. Magnificent amounts of Djent now!

lol let me fix this.
I just found a crack on the headstock of my SG, probably from when it fell of it's stand,
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
but I don't seem to have any tuning problems.
Oh...
There is a god.
HAHAHAHAHA!
Seriously though, how the hell did you manage to get an SG, which are light as fuck, to fall of a stand?

I placed it so that the potmeter was on the part pointing up, and then gravity took over.

And you figured that was a smart thing to do?
I want a Mesa amp so bad...
I just want a Mesa model which doesn't have a bunch of digital hissing and shit the moment you turn the gain up.
I have to use mockups of the MT-2 and DS-1 to get decent sounding distortion, all my amp models just add a little bit of character.
Which is fucking hood. I can still re-amp shit through a tube amp if I had one, but surely somebody on the planet can make a believable tube emulator and stick that in an amp model. Antares and Nomad did tubes well, they just can't figure the rest of it out.
Hey guys; I'm learning to play my first solo, which is the one in "The Trooper". However, there's these thrills, which are repeated hammer ons and pull offs, extremely fast. I wonder I should just hammer on, and just take the finger off (without flicking off) and hammer on again, or if I should hammer on, and properly flick off and hammer on again. The latter is bait more difficult, and I wonder if it's the correct way to do it, or I should just do the first.
the latter.

Just Keep Practicing.

(I think)
Buying a Delay and maybe a Noise Gate this week. I'm so psyched!

You may want to go for something a bit easier for your first solo. If you don't want to, look up youtube lessons, it's a real popular song so I can assume some people have made lessons on how to play the solo.

Oh sweet, what delay are you looking at?
Been looking at those Vox Valvetronix amps, anybody here have one, and have opinions on it?
Looking at the 100 watt VT100, seems like a good price for a smaller valve amp.
I have an AD30VT, and it's pretty great. It has fantastic cleans, but the built in distortion kind of blows. If you have a distortion pedal it will be great. I don't know so much about the new VTs but they're pretty much the same thing only with like 11(?) more amp models.

I would definitely see if I could try it before I bought it though.
Not to into the full of distortion sound, I just like natural overdrive, basically just a little bit of gain. if I learn some more Van Halen or something like that I might pick up a pedal.
pussay
full distortion ALWAYS
Man how the fuck do I tune my guitar to drop C#
I did it once before with my tuner, but now it won't show notes like C# for me to tune to
What kind of tuner is it?
if I could find it, I'd tell you
Man how the fuck do I tune my guitar to drop C#

Just add a flat to get the C#. Tuners will pick up notes in different octaves than they should be. Once you get one string tuned you might as well just do relative tuning on all the other strings and then fine tune it with the tuner. Just know what note each string is and if it isn't a standard tuning note just flat one of the standard tuning notes down until you get to the right note. For example: to get a G# you can just flat once because an A flatted is G#.
If you have one of those tuners where you can't flat, there is only an off switch, well look for an online tuner and tune the lowest string, and then relative tune all the others. Make sure the lowest string is as accurate as you can get.
If your tuner is like the one below and you flat it and then you play a C#, it will tell you that you're playing a 4D when it is really a C#. It is common sense, but I can imagine someone getting confused thinking the tuner is broken.

Add 3 flats?
