I'm working on getting an HT Club 40 within the next week or so. Currently I use an HT-Dual pedal run into the CD input of a Marshall MG100HDFX w/4x10 cab.
It's like creating a symphony with this bloody hardwire pedal. It's a marvelous pedal

When you guys improv, do any of you think about what you play? Or do you guys just let it flow like I do. Because the most I can do is sing and play at the same time. Thinking about what I'm playing only takes place when I do repetitive bends
When I improv I bend a lot to get a nice sustaining sound, and then use chords that sound similar to the song I'm trying to play.
I mainly just choke my guitar with a lot of gain though.

You can't think about it too much. You just have to let it flow out, don't worry it will get easier with time and practice.

I don't think at all when I improvise, I just play what sounds good. And if I play something that doesn't fit in, I just call it chromatic or blue notes.
