I'm an impatient bastard, sorry Facepunch. Finally got it after about an hour and a half of fucking with it today. I need to work on my finger curvature for sure, my fingers really like to mute errything else.

Income tax time is coming, should I get a 12 string acoustic or a bass guitar and amp?

Fantastic, I really enjoyed the tappy acoustic sound and the way you used distorted electric with the acoustic. I think it'll sound even better with real guitars.

Does anyone else pick right next to their bridge on the Acoustic guitar for a sprangy sound? Sound pretty cool. Tolkki does it alot. I swear Tolkki isnt my idol

I plan on converting my 12 string acoustic to a 7 string, and tuning it something like: Db Gb B E A Db Gb, or standard 7 string tuning up one step

If you want to mess with tunings. CGDGBB or CGDGCD sound amazing. [editline]27th December 2010[/editline] They're essentially Pavement tunings that Sonic Youth stole and changed. Or whatever.

Tune the strings down.

If it can handle 12, it can surely handle 7. Though to be honest it can't really handle 12, after 5 years the neck had a bit too much bow in it. I now have 8 strings on it and it has returned to a better action and seems to hold up fine.
