Kab why are you never on msn
Because he's probably got better things to do I only go on MSN when I need to talk to my friends to organise stuff now
I'm on MSN fucking ALL the time. Even when I'm not on the computer. Just.. Saying.
None of the people on my contacts list I actually like never go on, so I just use it when I want to organise something Anyway, we're kind of derailing here
What shaped picks do you guys prefer?
Jazz III for life! Normal picks for strumming along on an acoustic or playing bass though
I use these Dunlop Cactus-esque 1mm ones. The downside is the bend when jammed between the strings of my guitars bridges [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] Hey guys, want to shred like Timo Tolkki? The secret is in the hands :smug: [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] Kirk Hammett: I was send by god to show people how to play awesome* guitar! Timo Tolkki: I didn't send that guy...
Kirk Hammett: I was send by god to show people how to play awesome* guitar! Timo Tolkki: I didn't send that guy...
As much as I love Kirk Hammett that made me laugh quite a bit.
So after I got nothing for Christmas, I decided that I was going to spend the rest of my pay check on myself. I bought myself one of these babies to make me happy.
What shaped picks do you guys prefer?
2mm Dunlops. For everything.
Jazz III. XL.
What shaped picks do you guys prefer?
Dunlop 3mm Jazz Stubby. Big Stubby ones are alright, but I find the Jazz ones to be more controllable.
Well it's finished now. The song I was making I mean. Would be better if I had a pre amp and some other more professional studio equipment. Anyways, I'm pleased with it.
What shaped picks do you guys prefer?
Dunlop 1.14mm picks.
What shaped picks do you guys prefer?
These, but I prefer to play with my fingers anyway. I only use them for very fast parts or in songs which require harshness of a pick.
Tortex .60mm picks for everything in standard. I use this much thicker Carnifex pick that they threw out at a show for playing my friend's Drop A guitar.
this hiss is unbearable
What is something fun to play? I'm bored.
What is something fun to play? I'm bored.
If you don't mind just simple riffs, Frances Farmer will have her revenge on Seattle.
What is something fun to play? I'm bored.
Black Knight by Deep Purple is fun to play. And who doesn't like Deep Purple?
I use a .73 Dunlop for everything.
Dunlop Gator Grip .71s for me. They hold well, but still have a certain amount of flexibility. Plus they're purple. For ULTIMATE MANLINESS!
Dunlop 1.14s for everything.

I was told to start on .7-1mm picks, so I'm using a crappy factory .73mm Ibanez pick currently, it suits my needs. V:v:V

This HardWire Delay/Looper pedal is making a high pitched noise, pls help [editline]28th December 2010[/editline] http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/m135-smart-gate-noise-gate I must buy one of these asap.
In my opinion, it feels like you just slapped bunch of riffs together, it didn't feel like a complete song.
I can relate to that. I would've loved to make it sound more of a song song, but I'm lacking the hardware and the software, so that's the best I can do for now.
I'm in a recording studio right now, recording a full-length album on my FrankenJackson Rhoads V with a Duncan Invader in the bridge. Wish me luck :3
