Guitar Discussion Thread V6 - General

I always seem to be getting some sort of uncleanness while playing. I can never avoid it, and it kind of sucks when playing solos that sound fast, except very clean.

Tezza is a great musician. No doubt about it. Also, instead of using my [i]line6[/i] to practice on whilst my stack isn't here, i'm running my Guitar through the EQ pedal i bought and am running that into my headphones. Shit sounds so much better than that god forsaken line6.

You're muting with your picking hand, of course. Just use the palm and lift it off after you hit the note.

Like everything I've seen and heard tells me it'll blur together. It's like any distortion is immediately too much disortion. Eh, fuck it. The shape [code] - - - - 0 0[/code] Is a power chord with the 5th in the bass. You could also consider it a perfect 4th above a root note, but that would only make sense if the chord under it was a sus4 or for some other good reason.
