I always seem to be getting some sort of uncleanness while playing. I can never avoid it, and it kind of sucks when playing solos that sound fast, except very clean.
Hey guys, is getting a Digitech RP150 for $60 a good deal?
Not particularly, you can find them for that or near that on Google pretty easily.
I mean, if it's something you want and you're happy with the price, then sure. It's difficult to call something that small a "deal" though.
Tezza is a great musician. No doubt about it.
Also, instead of using my line6 to practice on whilst my stack isn't here, i'm running my Guitar through the EQ pedal i bought and am running that into my headphones.
Shit sounds so much better than that god forsaken line6.
How often should I change tubes? I have some 12 AX7 tubes in my amp from ~30-28 years ago. And I've been rigorously playing the amp for the past 5 years. Do I need to worry about the power tubes if I used them at gigs?
Also, my favorite online-bassist:

I think he could kill a man with that slapping hand because damn that is fast. And I also have some video's from him among my youtube favorites :buddy:
And damn Tezzanator your tone is sweet.
Nice sound Tezz!
This is a quick little thing I made some months ago (fingerpicking)

Drop D.
Hmm, drop D doesn´t really effect DGB, now does it. And that isn´t even a power chord.
I don't think you really need any extra praise, you're a great musician as it is Darkslicer.
Ok then I stop posting here :buddy: Goodbye everyone my job is done!

finally learning a different jazzy song (only know two)
I hate to break up a page full of good shit for this, but I seem to be mad.

Is there some way of muting that keeps the tone of an open note that I should learn or is this just that fabled inability of regulla EMGs to handle anything more complex than a fifth before getting hammered and heading for Wichitaw?
Because if there's some different way to mute that'll keep shit from sounding quiet as hell or like BROOOOOOOOOOOOdaggadaggadaggadaggadagga I'm all ears.
oh god I'm so lazy
wow how is that related to the current topic en-gauge i mean jesus christ man come on you must have something better to do than post unrelated shit to the topic get your shit together man

If you have three dials on your amp dedicated to Bass, Middle, and Treble, then you can achieve all kinds of sounds. You're muting with your picking hand, of course. Just use the palm and lift it off after you hit the note.

I wouldn't even bother with a multifx unless it were up in a higher quality range. Get a stompbox instead.
That's not a power chord.
It isn't?
Well fuck me over.
I heard that when you have to play a chord that involves going over 2 or more frets, it's considered a power chord.
whoops

Now I just need an SG and a Marshall JMP.
And enough pot to floor an elephant.

That would be like every chord except open A
Power chords are built like root - fifth - octave
they aren't major or minor since they don't have the third
Here is a G power chord:
E3 (G)
A5 (D)
D5 (G)
It can be played pretty much anywhere on the fretboard, just play around and see what sounds good

Yeah I know how to dick with that shit, I'm talking about the fact that even muted anything that isn't 1 and 5 just kinda blurs together. Like everything I've seen and heard tells me it'll blur together. It's like any distortion is immediately too much disortion.
Eh, fuck it.

Is a power chord with the 5th in the bass. You could also consider it a perfect 4th above a root note, but that would only make sense if the chord under it was a sus4 or for some other good reason.
