What do you have right now and what are you trying to record?

One thing that bugs me is I'll read a review on a guitar, only to find out they played it through a [I]Line 6[/I]Spider :downs: Then the sound part of the review is kind of useless sometimes.

TL-2 is more you know, metal. It gives more gain and a scooped sound afaik. Valve distortion would be more like a marshally tone I guess if we would compare it to amps.
