They played American-made Deans, and those are pretty pricey.
All the ones you see in guitar stores are the imports, and they play like total ass.

i was at one point, didn't make much but oh the fun :p
In a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band that gets paid gigs almost every week - Doing the o2 academy in newcastle next month :D (Can't wait)
Was in another Red Hot Chili Peppers band that got patchy gigs but did 2 festivals.
Also in an originals band that has just started but has a battle of the bands coming up.
Do the odd sound gig where I supply and operate a PA system.
Gigging is fun, Hard work moving the bloody gear, but fun.
FACGCE is a bomb tuning. It made playing guitar fun again.
I wish I could do that Tezzanator, but I'm unfortunately not in the greatest position to go gigging being in a farm town.
Just found the awesomeness that is the Natural Minor Scale.
sounds great, and apparently its the one maiden use the most of.

Low end BC Riches are about as shit as the low end guitars from other companies. It's the mettul image kids who buy them cos they look cool that garner them a bad rap. Up from the Platinum Series are some damn fine guitars, if you're into the look
