The delay pedal I bought has a 4 second looper built into it, so I played the arpeggios from Devin Townsend's By Your Command, and I just let it run, and I let it run, and run and run, and 2 hours later, I felt completely out of it, and figured if I didn't turn it off I'd probably turn to jelly, so I struggled out of bed and kicked the stomp box, best $50 I've ever spent.

I have the 7-string version of that guitar, and if the 6 string is anything like mine, it's well worth it.

If you would please give us consent to use your song we would gladly credit you for your musical stylings.
shake that motherfucker
but don't learn the hard way, do it in the middle of a room with no stuff in it. I remember doing something similar and hitting my guitar's headstock again the wall.
Was enough to freeze me on the spot

it's a young guy trying hard to win a competition, don't be a dick just let him.
him wanting your music is a great compliment.

I dunno, it's hard to get a grasp of a guy and what he does just through that snippet of text
I would be really glad if anyone wanted to use my music though, even if it was for free
well obviously he isn't making money of it, he would be licensing songs in that case.
So awhile back my mom thought I could have some musical talent (lol) and bought me a guitar. It's now time to sell this thing on criagslist and I did some research on it to figure out the price. It's a Fender Squire and I found out that they made 3/4 size child models, and I can't tell if this is what I have or not. Is there a quick/easy way to check anywhere or do I have to bring it over to a musically talented friends house for him to size it up?
What is this port called? What amp should I get?

Is it possible to connect it to PC or TV somehow?
looks like a midi port
trough a midi interface you should be able to connect it to your pc.

Exactly
That song was also written on my prestige heritage elite (without EQ just the amp + guitar) pretty awesome clean sound!

Do I just get one of those Midi to USB cable and control sound with some kind of software? Thanks
you should get an interface
like http://keyboards-midi.musiciansfriend.com/product/M-Audio-USB-Uno-1X1-MIDI-Interface?sku=701379
or way better: http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/M-Audio-Fast-Track-Pro-Mobile-USB-AudioMIDI-Interface?sku=241710
http://keyboards-midi.musiciansfriend.com/product/M-Audio-Midisport-2x2-Anniversary-Edition-USB-MIDI-Interface?sku=500535
i'd probably go for the third one, but theres many many choices really
After 3 20 minute shaking sessions I got the pick out.
Now to tape it to my fingers so I won't drop it again.
they actually should start putting a mesh over the hole.
thats actually a really good idea.
DIN 5Pin isn't just used for MIDI, It's highly unlikely that it's a MIDI guitar. 5 Pin DIN was also used for stereo connections on tape recorders.
I rekon that it's a custom job and it will have some interesting wire scheme (1 pickup output per pin + ground?; Some sort of stereo setup?; Maybe it was done to stop people easily picking up the guitar and playing it?) - You're going to have to crack (Not literally) that thing open yourself or get a techy to look at it to either make a lead up or convert it to standard jack.
*interesting looking guitar*
That are quite some pick-ups you have there sir.
And I was thinking about getting a job after I've finished my final school exam (in about 4 months I reckon) so I can finally buy my own gear good plan I think.
thats interesting, WND could you take the snares off and unscrew the pickguard and make a photo of whats under it, i'm really interested.
[editline]26th January 2011[/editline]
assuming theres a pickup under the guard over the snares near the bottom. it might have a seperate pin for every pickup.
that'd be intersting.
Also would anyone be interested in a super mario cover from me?
Rate agree for yes.
Rate disagree for no.
Rate optimistic for ''You'll post it anyway.''
[editline]21:58PM[/editline]
[sp]I'll record it tomorrow if there is enough demand.[/sp]
~has never dropped a pick down an acoustic before
That guitar is pretty sick, I've never seen anything quite like it before
