Many of those are still in use aren't they? With the cream cups and all
Yep, some of the carriages were last used the day before we were there, the tickets and newspapers on board were from 1 October 2010, seemed to be a charter train taking people from a football match in Newport back to London Paddington.
One had a newspaper from 2003 though, obviously been there a while.

I said that it was stupid to go into the yard when there were people working there, but apparently the security guard found bargain hunt more interesting.

Thanks
The train cabins looked pretty awesome. I would invite lots of friends over and have a party!
Those trains looks so lonely
:smith:
Holy fucking shit where is this, and where can I get some.
Buy one of those trains. You will be forever awesome for it. Or we all can pool money, and buy a special FP train for ourselves.
Edit: I thought this shit was abandoned, I read the rest of the OP. :(
This is awesome! I like how you also took pics of the interior.
Before any of the Americans in here get the idea to find a railyard and do the same, I'll inform you of this really quicky. Do not trespass on U.S railways systems ANYWHERE in the United States. Its considered a FEDERAL offense and they are heavily monitored by cameras and patrols. They will prosecute you as well, its not just a warning.
My father is an engineer for the railroad. Look up the laws if you don't believe me.
Also: Yes I've done it before. It was an old train yard/station that looked completely abandoned and even my father told me no one was there. Yet when we went after we had gotten in there were patrols around it. We had to run and jump a fence to get away. Just a friendly warning.
That's actually pretty cool but compared to the power plant it's not as good.

According to Bengley they are selling London Underground A60/A62 stock atm, which are the widest and most comfy underground carriages, the seats are like beds.
£1000 for a trailer and £1500 for a driving cab trailer.

This is fucking awesome. Where abouts is this? I live near York and interested in trains + infiltration
That looks like it could be a great setting for a zombie movie.
Fucking a.
Why do countries like England and the US have so many abandoned sites?
I really do enjoy places like those, assuming they ARE abandoned, not infested with tramps.
And really, i liked the pictures. You made me jealous, god fucking damn it.
Infiltration sounds silly, its just trespassing. Not that I don't approve, it can be interesting having a look around.

If I lived in the UK and had somewhere to put it, I would buy one in an instant.
