nah I thought it was pretty cute
the second best paradox space strips are the cute ones that focus on not kids or trolls (except for hunting lesson which featured the best [read: only good] troll)
the first best are kc green's sbahj strips
imo the worst strip is the one where john and dave talk in the dad depot because there is one place where "deep dave" belongs and that place is a garbage can
The difference between Paradox Space and fancomics is the same difference between fan art and official art sold on whatpumpkin
The comics are consistently decent in quality but a little bland sometimes, while fanmade stuff can be amazing and extreme but can also be terrible

I feel very tentative about light hearted ancestor comics, considering it was basically the darkest part of the whole story.

It wouldn't make a lot of sense for Paradox Space, which has been going down a silly, light-hearted and non-canon route to suddenly include something really dark, but I know what you mean.
The humor seems really familiar to those Avatar: Last Airbender cartoons tho
Homestuck is all about funny and dark moments being right next to each other or even at the same time
The 2nd and final page to the Ancestors comic, pretty good start to the week I would say.
Pretty sure there's a nod to that antlered troll in there somewhere too.

Going through 7 pages for a non-joke or something completely predictable or just plain unfunny doesn't qualify for a swell time.

The premise is generic but I admit "get the fuck in this ass" brought it right back up to funny for me

I like this one a lot, but it looks like whoever drew it didn't draw rose's head in the last panel all at once, when it bounces around you can see the extra lines they had to fill in near the top.
