Cliche is Alpha dave, it's boring and 90% of the hundreds of people who do it are lazy.
Generally pictures help to let people know who you'd suit, but so long as you don't look absolutely nothing like the character you should be fine.

I feel as if I look more like John than anything else (Also I am 14 so it works out.)
And as an added bonus I guess I could wear his god tier hoodie I'll make around school as a calling card.
