I feel you there. It pisses me off that I can't talk to some of my friends about Doctor Who or Sherlock without them... Well, obsessing. I haven't found anyone to discuss the clever writing or the likeable characters or anything without them driving the conversations to "David Tennant/Benedict Cumberbatch/Eridan is so cute he is my baby this fandom is so wacky."
I mean it's not like I can fault them for enjoying something. I do like these people too, they're long-time friends of mine. I just wish these things weren't so strongly associated with their "fandoms". 32[/QUOTE]mspaprophet has been a workhorse of the MPSA fandom for a while, basically replacing "UPDATE" calls with "UPDATE IS COMING, X PAGES". We're not exactly sure how he does it, but whatever he does works, and can accurately predict pages.
This time was a little suspect, seeing as the number just kept rising, as if he was just screwing around with us in the hiatus, or the tumblr was hacked, but then there's that flash which I guess is current. So it's most likely legit.
Well, it'd indeed make sense for Hussie to upload the images before the actual text on the pages so monitoring future pagenumbers for content is a very effective means of predicting updates. And I presume this is how it's done.
