I had a bit of a far-out theory a while ago, and this development could tie into it. Maybe. Like I said this is all far-fetched but...
Let's say Aranea manages to prevent the session from bearing fruit, as she planned, but the Condesce still has hold over Jade and Jane. Jane still has her Life powers, Jade's still got her Space/FG powers as well as Earth (assuming that when we saw her doing the spacey thing to it in that glitchflash that she pocketed it).
Remember when I claimed that the Red Sun might be the Green Sun with the blue universe A torn out of it? Since there were trolls and all that, and the universe B part that would be left would be red. I didn't really have a reason as to why or how that would happen, but maybe now I do.
Jade can send things to the Green Sun even if she's outside of its influence, we've seen it happen with the bucket. Jane can bring people back to life. A universe, in homestuck, is a living thing and we've seen that the Green Sun contains the corpses of its components.
I'm just saying if something along those lines winds up being a plan b after Serket fucks thing up I'll flip out.
Aranea is now my favorite character.
