I dont think it'll end THIS year, but probably early next year. I mean think about it, we probably have at least one or two months left of updates, theres sure to be a break or two in there, and then he'll need a hiatus to work on end-game flashes and shit. There's a chance it'd end this year but I dunno, either right at the end of the year, or beginning of next year, I think.

This is literally the whole point of a page? Your role in the game is defined by your personality and the challenges it sets are designed to mature you as a person (because it takes 13 year olds as its players). Tavros was also a page, he starts off at a huge disadvantage not just in his aspect but in other areas too.
The challenges that Jake would normally have had to overcome would certainly have made him not-awful. But we have both a void session (so improper/no challenges I think) and of course he's being forced to take a short cut through it all anyway.

To add to this, Roxy is basically the only one who faced her problems in a mature way and she's getting close to being able to control them.

I think what this is going to end up doing is fuck Jake up even more, the the point where HE thinks he's an even better character and he's like some stereotypical macho man or some shit like that. There's no doubt this is going to fuck him over worse than the Trickster escapade.
