You can also add more springs to it if you want.
I get the feeling with a lot of the all around instructional books/videos that introduce techniques like sweep picking is more of an exposure to that technique and you can't really master it from the few exercises you are given that deal with the technique.
So give me some technique-specific books for everything. Like I said, just needs to be something to gnaw on for a while, if that means stuff specific to certain techniques so be it.
Just cut out the left side of that photo and you'd have a great, flawless setup
f u ok that is a sexy Dean

Its a nice guitar but that headstock is bleh
Its a nice guitar but that headstock is bleh
Doesn't matter, as long as it doesn't neck dive I don't really mind how the headstock is.
http://www.rondomusic.com/intrepid928mnnat.html 9 strings broot :smug:
Really now, what are we gonna do with a low low LOW C...
its tuned EADEADGBE as standard, or you could put a low C or a high G or A on it
So give me some technique-specific books for everything. Like I said, just needs to be something to gnaw on for a while, if that means stuff specific to certain techniques so be it.
I really suggest Rock Discipline because it has a lot of exercises that should take a while to master and it goes a lot more in depth than Speed Kills. It's an all around program, but it's A tapping book. Really difficult. Frank Gamble is well known for his speed picking technique although you may not want this if you're already familiar with economy picking. I'm sure there are some good books about finger picking out there. And there are a lot of books dedicated to certain styles or scale patterns which you can apply certain techniques to.
Nice to see it in production :buddy: When I get around to buying a new ERG I'm gonna have to choose between that and an 8 now...
I'd see if you'd dig the 8 before you even bother with a 9
So...Rock Discipline and Speed Kills for starters, and then Over the Top for tapping and Gamble's thing because I'm terrible at economy picking. Sounds good. I don't know what to look for for finger stuff either, but it doesn't really matter to me. Well, I gotta do something about fingering a bass like my hand is broken, but I doubt there's a DVD out there for fixing clubhand.
I'd see if you'd dig the 8 before you even bother with a 9
I just want one to mess around on. I don't even see myself ever using an 8 to make serious music. I even find myself mostly playing sixers nowadays and my seven is just for the occasional shred sesh.
http://www.rondomusic.com/intrepid928mnnat.html 9 strings broot :smug:
It has finally happened :geno;
Its a nice guitar but that headstock is bleh
f u ok I like that headstock
why
Walking basslines while playing jazz, 36 notes over one hand position, capability to tune to pretty much anything you want, massive chords in one hand position. There are a lot of reasons ERG's are viable. As long as the player has a use for it then who has a right to decide what people should play?
http://www.rondomusic.com/intrepid928mnnat.html 9 strings broot :smug:
If I had the money I would buy it and tune it F#BEADGBEC or F#BEADGBEC# for extra awesomeness, I already have the oversized hands to play it.

The holder for the whammy bar is loose as hell. it pops in and out and i don't see any way to fix it.
I was thinking more Animals as Leaders with 9 strings :v:
that'd be epic.
i only have one problem. The holder for the whammy bar is loose as hell. it pops in and out and i don't see any way to fix it.
why don't you just send it back and get another
why don't you just send it back and get another
i bought it used, so i'd have to buy an jackson instead. i love this guitar though, the only problem is the whammy bar, i just don't use it often either way.
I'm starting to learn Classical Gas. Any advice?
My birthday is coming up soon and I'd like a new guitar. Budget is around 1000 USD. Any ideas? :v:
