Go cheap, but not too cheap on equipment. Upgrade when you feel the need. I've been playing since February of this year, and my £60 bass has Seymour Duncans, and I changed my amp from 20W to a new 80W
hmm going to have to save up then, going to take a while as i only have JSA, most of which goes to paying bills

While it's beautiful, I must ask if it's American-made. I've only ever had terrible experiences with imported Deans.

I think this is the dumbest signature guitar I have ever seen. Not surprised considering it is from Bullet From my Valentine guitarist.

I think they kind of ruined it with the flame thing, I just can't like the shape of deans, not even the double cutaways they just look kind of strange
something about the headstock is strange too

Well not every design is for anyone, but I liked how the back of it curls around where you get some flat bottomed ones that look really boring

You can get a bass for £70. Brand new, good quality. They ship everything carefully, and since I live on an offshore island and the bass, and 2 different amps that I have ordered came without a scratch on them. Great customer service too.

Put my new Ernie Ball strings on today, didn't have to do any movement with my truss rod either which is a plus.
I can't believe how beautiful my guitar sounds with these strings.
