I love it to death. It has a crack in the 17th fret, the 15th fret on the High E string is a bit buzzy, but I love it so much.
Well I can attest for the GTD120's tonal versatility - from a nice classic rock clean, right up to a Pantera level of distortion (or at least pretty damn close), and pretty much anything in between.
Only effect pedal I have for it right now is a Crybaby 95Q, but that's a whole different level right there (discussing pedals as opposed to amps).
I'm pretty happy wth the gain in my amp, I want more versatillity
There's like 5 setting, it's fairly weak
I personally love my Dual Terror. I love the fact that you can switch from 30 all the way down to 7 watts. You can really get that hot tube sound at lower volumes with this.
I wish it had a bit more gain though, but that's just me. Nothing a boost pedal can't fix.
I can swap from 15 - 3 watts
Power squeezer I think? You get a fatter tone because the amp is running at full volume on a certain wattage setting?
All I know is I have something similar and it's pretty good
My first try at some basic slapping on bass.

Figured both instruments by ear.
I like you Hullu. You are one of the few here who actually play things instead of just gear whoring all the time. :wooper:

I would post more stuff I make if I would get more feedback. My last nice melody I posted was just ignored :smith:
I've made something that everyone here will enjoy, the recording process was like the other piece "deep melody" that I posted some pages back, but this song just sounds better (It's a 5 layer guitar only song with lots of harmony in it, sad type)

Made that in an hour, no metronom just pure guitar and pure feelings
This one.

Sounds like A Perfect Circle.
Sounds like A Perfect Circle.
Dunno about that song, gonna listen to it when coming home
[editline]10:59AM[/editline]
Is that even a good sign?
Could anyone tell me why you have to remove the current finish from a guitar before repainting it?

Actually I'm really digging that, sounds like a little interlude.

Then you just make something new and try again! Not everything I post gets commented on, but I don't mind. It's not like I make my songs for FP's sake.

You're better off posting them at a music forum or something. I post my stuff at sevenstring.org, and get plenty of good praise/constructive criticism.
Dunno about that song, gonna listen to it when coming home

No no, it's a band.
It's a good sign yes.

Fuck rage against the machine are good
I want somebody to honestly tell me why they aren't because I can find absolutely no fault with anything that they do
The only thing I dont like about Rage Against The Machine are the vocals.

I really don't like their song writing.

That thing is damn useful, it comes with a software right? Some friend of mine bought one of them and has some fantastic results for recording
I like you Hullu. You are one of the few here who actually play things instead of just gear whoring all the time. :wooper:
Uh I'm pretty sure everybody here play stuff, everybody just doesn't have the means to record

I'm glad to hear that. I'll be recording off of headphones, but meh that's good enough for now.

Does that thing have a phantom power switch?
Hey guys, I've had my Roland cube 30-x for a while now and I'm thinking about getting a bigger amp to play with my friend who plays drums because when being cranked loud, the cube starts to sound bad (and I don't wanna blow it up). I've been either considering a Roland Cube 80-X or maybe a tube amp in the same prices (around 500-800 CAD) I'm trying to get a Zakk Wylde kind of tone (in the 90's) but without getting a marshall stack cauz it's too loud & too expensive at moment (considering I also play at home alone ) Got any good tube amps or recommendations?

Broken workstation, dude. I'm going to be doing a demo soundtrack or some sort of mix after I get 'er operational, some of it will undoubtedly get posted up in here.
Unrelated, but holy crap did Komplete 7 just get bumped to the top of my "to be purchased" list.

Because you're probably too lazy to go hit the demo icon:

I'e always thought those look really hard to get accustomed to
The only thing I dont like about Rage Against The Machine are the vocals.
The vocals are almost the greatest part imo
too preachy
Rage aren't preaching, they're raging :colbert:
but fair enough, probably doesn't appeal to everyone
I really don't like their song writing.
Again, fair enough
I think it's awesome though, there's always a bitchin riff, a fat bassline, tight drums and sick vocals
someone else suggest a band that there are no flaws with in their opinion
If somebody says tool I will tear them apart lol
Saw this when I went into a music shop today
