I retract my previous statement of strat/superstrat being the only good shape for basses.
Shit, my band had a 4-5 hour practice session last night. Wrote the sludgiest sludge metal song ever.

As normal guitars I don't like how they look, but they're quite nice for basses
I opened that in a new tab and heard a blackberry add.
For a few seconds there I lost some serious respect for you.
You still got respect for him?

So I just got a Crybaby wah, is it supposed to kind of go blehhhh when I use heavy distortion? It's like it cant cut through it. With lighter distortion it sounds fine.

Oh wow, that looks expensive...why would someone want one?
and also, I want some good amp settings for Rock'n'roll or bluesrock preferably without the use of gain, i guy in the music shop said to me about something to do with the master volume and volume but i cant remember.
It's supposed to go WERGWERGWERGWERGWERG
for me it clearly isnt :( is it the fact that it's an original crybaby or a small amp (roland cube 30) :( (asking about anyone on that not necessarly the user quoted above
Oh wow, that looks expensive...why would someone want one?
Probably for the same reason people buy Eigenharps. Because they look cooler than a regular controller.
I'm stoked, I just ordered a dual EMG 81 set for my Epiphone Goth Explorer. That thing is going to fucking scream.
Kickass
I'd like to secure me some EMGs, moar gain is moar better

That's fucking ugly.
It's not pretty but it's not that bad
anyway if he wants to buy it he will lol
Look above the bridge! Looks so uncomfortable! Looks like one end is heavier than the other.

Explorer basses look awesome, but all I can imagine from them is obscene amounts of neck dive. Fuck Gibson for making awesome shapes which just don't work on bass.
I just can't dig any guitar shapes other than LPs, SGs and double cutaways
Everything else just seems so bulky and fucking annoying to use, it's like the cosmetics of the guitar interfere with the actual purpose

My P has neck dive anyway so I'm used to it.

Les Paul's cosmetics interfere with the functionality much more than an Explorer does.

I love their shapes but they all suck on bass.
