Just take a look around here:
http://www.thomann.de/gb/electric_guitars.html
and see what you like. To stay within the 400 Euro budget, you'd have to go for 300 or less on the guitar. But there are plenty for that price, and the postage would be free as far as I know.
Thanks alot : )
No problem. I've bought from there 3 times now, good shit. Everything is well packaged, invoices for everything too.

They may ask for your mobile number, I recommend that. I gave them mine on my last order (my new amp), and they sent me a text to say when it had been shipped. Friendly people too.
Thanks alot : ) although I guess I would like to go for strat or something that isn't a les pauls. Should I get a fender strat for that price, for example?
Got one today in fact for less than 400 euros.
Ebay is your friend.
Here, already searched it for you:

Thinking about buying a Dean ML XM. Anybody got any feedback on what it's like
Guys! I've made an full Mascara instrumental (Song by deftones) all by my own! Please check it out! And tell me if you like it :h:
Deftones - Mascara (Instumental made by me)

If you want higher quality then download the file! But you also can direct listen.
There is up to 5 guitars playing at once at times (Harmonies, on the distortion part there are 5 guitars!) Turned out damn cool high quality!
Also turned off my noise gate and put my guitar near my speakers for that effect in the left box, at the end

Why does the link work for me?

Yea ofcourse it won't work if you copy the link then insert it into the adress bar, click it.
Who the fuck do you think manually pastes hyperlinked text into their URL bar? I'm not 60.
The link was dead 10 minutes ago. It isn't now. Soundcloud probably has wicked delay before stuff becomes visible to the public.

Don't get all mad, aslong as it works everything's alright
And sorry for saying that you should click it! It was not meant to make you seem retarded!
I use an ME-20B.
I plug my bass in, then plug my laptop into the "Aux In". Headphones on and I have a load of effects and no disturbing anyone.
The other way involves plugging your guitar into the computer, but if you haven't got your sound card set up correctly it's going to be a pain in the ass for a number of reasons*.
*You may get a LARGE delay, You can counter act this with ASIO4ALL, but then you have another problem, ASIO4ALL takes over the sound driver so you can't play music unless you play it through ASIO4ALL.
This isn't a problem if you have a proper sound card with REAL ASIO drivers.
Yeah i've tried playing with just my computer and amp but it ended with my amp in smoke because of some power trip or something.
I want something that goes from my guitar, to a box of some sort, then to my computer, that can be used so i can plug my headphones into my computer and hear my guitar, but also so i can record with it.
I really just need to know specific things to look for because i have no idea what i'm looking for exactly. and the pedal you linked was a bass pedal, so i dunno.
The me-20B is the bass pedal, the Me-20 is the guitar one.
You want to record too? - In that case, one of these: http://www.thomann.de/gb/line6_pod_studio_gx_b_stock.htm

cheers man, i thought it would be a pod studio or something of the like, i just didn't want to buy a random piece of equipment and get the wrong one or something.
Also, i posted a while back asking about the Epiphone dot and whether it was a nice guitar, well recently i've earned a bit more cash and i was wondering if i should sink it into an Epiphone casino? It's roughly another £100 more, so will that buy me a much better guitar? I really dislike the dot inlays on the Dot and the Casino looks nicer with the larger inlays, but is the quality any different from a dot in regards of anything buy inlays?
Or the sheraton?
Fuck.
I want an ES355 Epiphone, with square inlays, in cherry. Tell me what to look for. The Sheraton only comes in natural, ebony and sunburst so it's out of the question. The dot has inlays i dislike, and the casino has paralellogram inlays. I can't afford a real gibson, so someone help meeeee
Just get a Casino

Unless it's really important that the inlays are rectangles, it seems to be everything you're looking for

Yeah i know, i just have some crazy thing about inlays. I probably will get one, i just heard some bad things about feedback issues but i'm sure it's no too bad is it? And the tailpiece causing some string vibration or something...?
I don't mind the natural looking sheraton after looking at it, does anyone know how they all compare to one another?
Edit:
Scratch the sheraton the headstock looks dumb. I'm going with a Casino.
I'm considering returning my low end Crybaby and going for either an Ibenez Weeping Demon or a Snarling Dogs Super Bawl Whine-O. Morley Bad Horsie Wah = sex in a wah pedal.
oh lawdy, I have a guitar lesson soon and I did basically no practice because I was on holidays :(

I have a headset for my pc so i was wondering if i can use my pc as an amp and use my headphones. what do i need? last time i tried to hook my pc up it blew my amp.

Why don't you plug your headphones into your amp?

You've made a good choice. I have that same Casino, and it's awesome. I sort of wish I had got it in Sunburst now, but that isn't because the Cherry looks bad - I feel like taking the Pickguard off and I think in a plain colour it'd make it look too bare.
The Cherry finish is really beautiful, and the P90s have a really nice quack to them. The full hollow nature of it supposedly makes feedback an issue, but I don't notice it often. It's easy to control.

That guitar sure is sexy, and I dont say that often.
I want a casino now.
I sprained the last joint on my ring finger on my left hand a few months back and it put me out of playing guitar for a while. It really fucking hurt, and you can still tell that the joint it a bit bigger than it's supposed to be.
Now that I've returned to playing, it really fucking hurts to play for any length of time. Especially power chords hurt. Sometimes I can't even make it through an entire song. :frown: Does anyone have any advice to help this?

Exercise your ass off. You basically need to rehabilitate the finger into functioning as it used to. The only way to get it there is to work through the pain (but obviously stop if it hurts more than a painful stretch).
I've recently got into guitars (mainly because I got into metal music :P), bought an electric guitar while on a trip to Emirates (don't ask) and got a Ronald X-cube amp, then proceeded to take classical tuts for 3 months now.
I am currently learning the D chord, any advice?
Do you guys think I should take lessons or should I just keep learning on my own? I've been playing for about half a year, had bass guitar experience before, really starting to get into guitar these days. Just wondering if it's worth it or not.

This is so bullshit.
FUCK.
I just found out i have to pay a term worth of rent for University, £1300...
won't be getting a casino until my loan comes through in another few weeks, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
your guitar is beautiful though, i can't wait to own one.
Probably going to be making a bass sometime soonish in the future. My little brother has started learning bass for his band class and he's going to need his own soon :3:
Any cool (non-retarded) designs that'd be good? It's going to be a 6 string scale baritone, by the way, so it can be converted into a long scale guitar sometime in the future.

Take what your class is teaching you and try to turn it into something substantial. Just dick around and learn the neck like the back of your hand.
