I got no problem with Epiphone, I own one I just think that the Goth seiries is costly and unnecessary I mean the difference between my regular G-400 and the goth one is I think that it has Alnico "Classic" buckers compared to Alnico Vs It's just not needed Oh and obviously the cosmetic difference

First you go around telling Epiphones are shit and then move to ignorant bullshit like this.
Something wierd just happened In my room practising, I'm about to go back Doing some improv, I switch from my neck pickup to my bridge. Huh what's that? I was on the overdrive channel (max gain ofc) and suddenly I'm getting a clean tone from my bridge pickup. The sound slowly fades out and stops all together. The hell? I wonder, and then sudden it fades back in with max overdrive and gain again I think it's time to get that free service on my guitar

I am pretty sure that that takes a little bit longer to learn. And I am pretty sure I can never do that too, well at least not without 2 years of constant practice.
Well it really must be Australia because everyone seems to love Epiphone besides us.
I'm from Australia and I own an Epiphone Les Paul Standard ++. It sounds awesome and has no flaws whatsoever. A lot of my music friends also love Epi's, specifically LP's, SG's and firebirds.
Well it really must be Australia because everyone seems to love Epiphone besides us.
Stop trying to represent Australia :colbert: All my mates and I love Epiphone, not to mention I love my les paul.

A while back I was planning on buying an Epiphone explorer after messing around with a former bandmate's and narrowed it down to two choices. Either: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-1958-Explorer-Electric-Guitar-101464113-i1150040.gc or This: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-Goth-1958-Explorer-Hardtail-Electric-Guitar-101763753-i1149244.gc While I did originally intend on buying the first, I eventually decided to save 100$, buy the second, and put it towards putting in better pickups if I felt it necessary. When it arrived I was extremely pleased with it and though I still intend on replacing the pickups, I'm pretty happy with my choice.
I have an Epiphone Casino w/Bigsby and an Epiphone Hummingbird Artist and they are both great guitars!
I am getting a Roland Cube 30 for Christmas is this any good? I heard it sounds pretty nice and has a lot effects that come with it. I play mainly metal and classic rock is this any good. Also what's all the hate for the Dean, I don't understand because I have never played on a Dean guitar.
recommend me a good bass. Also i was thinking of the hagstrom H-bass is it anything to go for? Ill give an example of what i like. http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Standard-Jazz-Bass-with-Tinted-Neck?sku=502782 But with a diffrent finish, sorta like black or red, or both.

Don't expect to get an awesome tone out of it instantly though, it takes quite a bit of fiddling with the settings.

Took me almost 3 years for it to come up, but I have had that problem before. [editline]17th October 2010[/editline]
I get that alot.
recommend me a good bass.
Budget?, Genre?
Budget?, Genre?
Blues, Rock, Hardrock. 800 buckish.
Blues, Rock, Hardrock. 800 buckish.
I'd say you were on the right track with the Fender Jazz then, Very versatile bass that won't let you down. http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Standard-Jazz-Bass?sku=501169 Got them in a nice array of finishes on this product listing. Shame the "Sterling by musicman" basses don't come in Double-Humbucker configurations. I would of said they would be another Viable option, but you might find the lack of choice a bit limiting. (It would suit Rock, Funk and the like. Blues not so much. A bit on the aggressive side)

If it doesn't happen again call it a glitch, if it does, my first guess would be the amp. Getting a setup for your guitar is never a bad thing though

Good guitars, but I dont really like them. I'm so happy! I got a new guitar today for my birthday, which was originally more than a month ago. There were some issues with our source, but the guy managed to find a really nice one two days ago and today we bought it! It's a Breedlove Atlas Series Stage D25/SRe, http://www.breedlovemusic.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=88:atlas-series-stage-d25sr&catid=74:atlas-series&Itemid=257 It's a really nice upgrade going from a Cataluna SGN-C81 to this:

It has like 10 times the amount of effects.
I was expecting a Dean.
why, cause I have one? nice reasoning
What do you guys think about Krank Amps?
It's a really nice upgrade going from a Cataluna SGN-C81 to this:
That's like "upgrading" from violin to banjo. :v: Seriously, stop comparing classical guitars and western guitars.
What do you guys think about Krank Amps?
I love the tone of the bigger amps, but their tiny ones just don't seem right to me. Granted this is all from demos, as no stores around me have any Kranks in store to try.
What do you guys think about Krank Amps?
I believe I am correct in thinking that Dime was endorsed by Krank, but I can't remember what point in his career this was
I believe I am correct in thinking that Dime was endorsed by Krank, but I can't remember what point in his career this was
Pretty sure that was only with Damageplan, because he made the Krankenstein with them not that long after the last Pantera album I *THINK*
