I don't usually like tele's, but I kind of like yours :buddy:
Thanks :) I can get pretty much any sound I want, great cleans, and some really heavy tones as well out of the bridge pickup. These broadcasters scream. I'm into a lot of heavy funk rippage, 90's hard rock etc. Here's an old pic of my effects setup and amp. That's a nice Telecaster.
That's a nice Telecaster.
^ This
So I've had this here telecaster for a couple years now. It's been my one and only workhorse guitar serving me well at plenty of jam sessions and shows in the past. That being said, it's definitely got signs of wear and tear. I just set it up with a fret level and new strings. Here are the specs for those who are interested: -Warmoth Custom Swamp ash body, with flamed maple top. -Switchcraft input. -Callaham Dual Ply Bridge Plate with classic brass T-style saddles. -Callaham Neck Plate. -Kinman Broadcasters in the neck and bridge. -Schaller locking tuning machines. -American Standard Telecaster Neck. I dislike dark pealoid. White pearloid is lush.
White's ok, but dark pearloid makes me cringe

Holy crap, I cannot stand fucking floyd roses. I thought I could take it at first. Licensed or not the quality is fine. The stretching requirement isn't that big a deal by itself. Hell, I could stand it taking twice as long to get in tune. But fuck, is this scary. Every turn of the wrench I'm worried I'm going to strip something. Even if I don't, I can't fucking stand having to worry about whether or not the thing will actually hold the string or just be a little more worn. Next upgrade is this bitch, new bridge. Gimme some fucking recommendations. Other trems that don't rely on tiny fucking screws, a regular bridge, don't care. Anything that'll hold seven strings.

Page king I like that tele, the pickguard is cool [editline]19th October 2010[/editline] Pedalboard is kickass as well [editline]19th October 2010[/editline]
Yea I know, that's kind of the point I was going for, I'm just terrible at correctly explaining what I am thinking. What I'm saying is that, in this case, the Gothic explorer was practically the same guitar just cheaper (And the obvious cosmetic differences), contrary to what (I think) you said (May have misread it).
I don't like how it's the same thing but they cost more but if in this case it was less it's justifiable. I just don't seem the point of paying more for the same. But you didn't so we're cool [editline]19th October 2010[/editline]
Yea I know, that's kind of the point I was going for, I'm just terrible at correctly explaining what I am thinking. Rhythm bros! Those are personally my two favourite songs to play when it comes to rhythm.
Nice I dunno, to me it's just more fun. I think a great combination of rhythm and lead is stuff like Rage Against The Machine guitar, like Tom Morello's stuff It's like a combination of lead and rhythm (because he's obviously the only guitarist apart from the bassist) But yeah, rhythm is underated.
Did a new cover now that I've gotten set up at my new apartment.
Goddamn I've always loved that song. Sweet cover.

[editline]19th October 2010[/editline] i also realized today that all my mates hate dean with a passion.

Be warned, the guitar version was super heavy, I wonder how heavy the bass is.
Just got my distortion and wah pedal for my bass, they sound good for their price (about €30,-). It's quite fun to mess around with while playing classical music. And it was nice of Thomann that they shipped it for me in the weekend.

WOWOWOWO AWESOME My Schecter arrived yesterday, in the morning though so the whole day I couldn't wait to get home to play! And by all right, this thing is goddamn awesome, I fucking LOVE the sound I can get out of it I mean my amp isn't exactly very metal(Fender Hot Rod Deluxe) But the tone is so fucking heavy still I played some djent on it with a drummer buddy today and it kicked major ass
I can´t remember whether I´ve asked this in this thread already or not, but would this be a good starter bass? http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_vint_mod_jazz_nt.htm
Listen to the samples and decide for yourself, I like jazz basses overall so I say go for it. Although I do not like the slapping sound, but that shouldn't be a factor for you.

Epi are good too. also why do they hate deans? :v: [editline]19th October 2010[/editline] This was my first bass, since had a pickup change with Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-1 split coil pickups http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_hbp120bk_ebass.htm
I wanna go out tomorrow and buy a new amp, I have 140 pounds in budget any good choices? I already checked upon the Valvetronics Vox VT15, and probably one of the choices, but if there is something better instead speak up.
@dcalde They said they hated their shapes. Didn't say much about sound but they hated their shapes.
