WOWOWOWO AWESOME My Schecter arrived yesterday, in the morning though so the whole day I couldn't wait to get home to play! And by all right, this thing is goddamn awesome, I fucking LOVE the sound I can get out of it I mean my amp isn't exactly very metal(Fender Hot Rod Deluxe) But the tone is so fucking heavy still I played some djent on it with a drummer buddy today and it kicked major ass
What Schecter?
Just got a second hand PA speaker.. Any ideas on how to utilize it?
@dcalde They said they hated their shapes. Didn't say much about sound but they hated their shapes.
why though? they just do regular shapes and a couple of their own, like the Cadillac and ML. The rest are copies.
What Schecter?
this schecter I've been drooling over it the past months, and about a week ago I could finally afford it so I ordered it It's so fucking awesome...Here's something I recorded with it just now.
I have a C-7 Diamond Blackjazz, which is awesome. Yours sounds great as well.
Yeah, the blackjack(? some model I'm not aware of?) is really awesome, good pups and neckthru What finish do you have it in?
I play in a pop-punk band mostly covering all time low songs and playing our own songs and were buying better equipment before we start playing live shows. We don't have very high budgets and would this be a decent guitar(at this price point) to get? http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--EPIEGG1L
pls change yor rusty strings citizen or you wil contract tetnis
I like rusty strings :saddowns: Nice mellow tone if you play with your settings right.
I can´t remember whether I´ve asked this in this thread already or not, but would this be a good starter bass? http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_vint_mod_jazz_nt.htm
That's what I've got for now. No complaints, just don't like the pickups. Honestly I think anything decent works as a "good starter" whatever.
The inlays!
Yeah man, bats How do you go wrong? new image because other one was broken
Yeah the G-310 is pretty solid I think Can't go wrong with Epiphone, really Unless you live in Australia, apparently
Don't listen to him, they're fine
I like rusty strings :saddowns: Nice mellow tone if you play with your settings right.
But less sustain, and it doesn't feel nice to me Also what the hell is up with double posting?
WOWOWOWO AWESOME My Schecter arrived yesterday, in the morning though so the whole day I couldn't wait to get home to play!
Just got a second hand PA speaker.. Any ideas on how to utilize it?
Wedge shaped? - Use it as a cab for your guitar/bass head, The angle can help keep stage volume down if you have a P.A Supporting your band. Really though, depends what it is. Could use it for anything... Drum fill, Giving your amp a different tonal character for recordings. I like using full range PA cabs (Such as the JBL SRX725, JRX125 , The Box ACHAT 215 - to pick three at random.) for my bass guitar, The tone you get from such a set-up is phenomenal. Or, Use it as a launching pad for building a PA system up?
I like rusty strings :saddowns: Nice mellow tone if you play with your settings right.
I know what you mean, but it's pain to play on rusty strings if you have the playing habbits of a guitarist with nothing to do except play guitar.
What would be a good amp for small live shows (max 100 people)? Budget would be maybe 300 dollars.
Unless you live in Australia, apparently
Similarly to how their toilets flush backwards, Australian Epiphones sound like shit.
What would be a good amp for small live shows (max 100 people)? There aren't that many beffier sized amps for that price, this combo seems decent though. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Raven-RG100-100W-2x12-Guitar-Combo-Amplifier-104622717-i1385074.gc
I know what you mean, but it's pain to play on rusty strings if you have the playing habbits of a guitarist with nothing to do except play guitar.
That made no sense :raise:
Similarly to how their toilets flush backwards, Australian Epiphones sound like shit.
I've been to Australia, though I don't live there, but every toilet I used, at homes and hotels, they were all button flush and drained straight down. The backwards thing is sort of a myth. The button ones are way more efficient.
Way to ruin the joke, guy. [editline]20th October 2010[/editline] Oh crap no content uh... Look at me have wicked timing problems on a really simple loop? http://dump.no/files/7378e2c6bffe/Jazzy.mp3 (I hadn't played in forever don't kill meeee) So anybody here ever try Recabinet? Their bold talk of owning everything else on the planet that is not them has me mildly concerned that they might really, really suck, but I haven't gotten around to trying the demo yet.
Similarly to how their toilets flush backwards, Australian Epiphones sound like shit.
Who the hell is saying this? My epiphone sounds beast.
Similarly to how their toilets flush backwards, Australian Epiphones sound like shit.
I disagree with that. Perhaps you've had bad experience, it's usually a joy to play Epi's though. And I live in Australia.
No no no guys it was a joke do you not remember like one or two/three pages back dude who was absolutely convinced Epis sucked and all of you were like no not really what's your deal and he was like "well I'm australian" [editline]20th October 2010[/editline] and then his tune changed and it was funny and everybody had a laugh it was sarcasm I thought we had an in-joke here
Haha, well chill out then man. It wasn't a big deal or anything. I fucking want my new guitar. Lee Ranaldo Jazzzzzzzmaster.
Y I'd like a schecter as my next guitar, that or an Ibanez or an ESP
Oh yeah, they're really awesome guitars I freaking LOVE their necks, the are so perfect <3 And they have superb quality for the price, mine only costed 499$(but swedish taxes put on about 100$ >:C)
Yeah I was having a look at it in my psychology class A seven string I see, nice
Going to start saving for an american standard Stratocaster, it'll last me a lifetime so I thought i'd just go all out.
That's the way to do it If you're gonna do something, do it right the first time I reckon [editline]20th October 2010[/editline] That's why I spent $800 on my gear from day 1
