well he never played without the pedal that day so I dunno what it's like without
I've heard that they're practically useless without pedals An amazing clean tone, and maybe overdrive, I dunno But if you want to play metal, you're going to need some pedals [editline]27th October 2010[/editline]
I'd say either Roland Cube or a Peavey Vypyr are both great choices when it comes to starters amps.
Get the 30x I have a 15x and I wish it had more stuff
1) Holy crap, do I love reamping 2) Holy crap, do I love MAB 3) No, seriously, I fucking love MAB
Well I would go with mesa boogie, but the price is just way too high. I played a rectifier today, and I gotta say- It was absolutely amazing... My local shop has a Peavey 6505 112+ for like $550, so I'm looking into that... I just dunno if it will be worth it.
I have a Bugera 6262 and i would recommended it highly. I only paid $400 and the tone is brutal.

Why does Ibanez make so many black only guitars? It pisses me off! I already have black guitars. Ibanez: White Iceman? Get rid of it. Almost all our 7-strings? Black only!
Because black is br00t41
Because black is br00t41
Actually yeah basically this. Ibanez typically sells as a metal guitar. So most retail stores will only stock black or other dark colors. USUALLY you can get most of their guitars in at least black or white, but more often than not the black will be the only one in-stock at a store.
Anything for metal that isn't black, white, or red are generally unpopular. All my guitars are black bar my white Charvel, and I plan on making my JS30KV purchase a black one. I might paint my AL200 bright red for Kai Hansen (my unofficial idol).
I'd like a black guitar, because that's my favourite colour Then again something like the colour scheme on a hellraiser looks better
Or the George Lynch Kamikaze

Fuckin' awesome.
Yeah, I understand that they keep it to black as the most common, but I want to have a variety of colours and guitar types to choose from in my collection.
Yeah. My first good guitar was (is) this: http://www.guitarcenter.com/ESP-LTD-FX-360-Electric-Guitar-584489-i1503619.gc No boring finishes or body shapes for me

It is black, but it has a nice finish. Great guitars those FX and EXs.
Yeah, I love the look of the spalted maple. The explorer shape is probably one of my favorites as well. I'd like to get a Gibson flying V sometime though.
I was considering getting one of those, too bad they were cancelled TEN YEARS AGO
I'm really straight up with my guitar shapes Don't like explorers, Vs, or any other different shape I just find them bulky to use, and I don't like the shapes themselves But a lot of people disagree, it's like saying what's better? Red or blue?

Red or blue?
I'm the same. I can't stand Vs, explorers and pretty much all BC Riches. Give me a sexy double/single cut like any sort of PRS however, and I'll be all over that bitch
Go to a shop, and play some guitars from the PRS SE range. Buy the one you like the most. :buddy:
THIS! I own one of those sexy beasts and they are AMAZING. Versatile tone, great feel, awesome look, and DAT NECK
In the world there are only 3 good guitar shapes. Ibanez RG/ESP Horizon (Generally a sharper strat model, round corners to me feel so plastic and child safe.) Explorer (I don't really like those pointy ESP ones but they're not bad) Les Paul (Speaks for itself)

It's sleek, practical and extremely nice to play. Looks damn nice aswell
I was really meaning fender stratocaster really. I like PRSs aswell, but I was never fond of that particular body.
Yeah I'm not particularly fond of strats either. Tele's I think are pretty cool though.
I really want a new guitar but there is nothing wrong with the one I have now I just want one for the sake of having another guitar
I'm yet to try PRS guitars, I don't like the body shape. Don't forget the V body shape. Strats IMO are the best because usually a guitar looks good or feels good, strats do both.
The PRS doublecut bodies are surprisingly comfortable. They look big and solid but they really feel just as ergonomic and natural as a strat.
