Actually yeah basically this. Ibanez typically sells as a metal guitar. So most retail stores will only stock black or other dark colors.
USUALLY you can get most of their guitars in at least black or white, but more often than not the black will be the only one in-stock at a store.
Anything for metal that isn't black, white, or red are generally unpopular.
All my guitars are black bar my white Charvel, and I plan on making my JS30KV purchase a black one.
I might paint my AL200 bright red for Kai Hansen (my unofficial idol).
I'd like a black guitar, because that's my favourite colour
Then again something like the colour scheme on a hellraiser looks better

Yeah, I got the EX-401DX. It is black, but it has a nice finish. Great guitars those FX and EXs.
Yeah, I love the look of the spalted maple. The explorer shape is probably one of my favorites as well. I'd like to get a Gibson flying V sometime though.

Ibanez RG/ESP Horizon (Generally a sharper strat model, round corners to me feel so plastic and child safe.)
Explorer (I don't really like those pointy ESP ones but they're not bad)
Les Paul (Speaks for itself)

I was really meaning fender stratocaster really. I like PRSs aswell, but I was never fond of that particular body.

Yeah I'm not particularly fond of strats either. Tele's I think are pretty cool though.
I really want a new guitar but there is nothing wrong with the one I have now
I just want one for the sake of having another guitar
I'm yet to try PRS guitars, I don't like the body shape.
Don't forget the V body shape. Strats IMO are the best because usually a guitar looks good or feels good, strats do both.
The PRS doublecut bodies are surprisingly comfortable. They look big and solid but they really feel just as ergonomic and natural as a strat.
