Ugh, even the thought of that sickens me. I'm a bit of a tension junkie. At least on the low strings
The .80 I have on my low F# feels fucking loose, but it's the biggest guitar string you can get without going to a specialist :saddowns:
I've got my 7 tuned to GDADGBE on 10s, but next time I restring it I'll definitely be picking up some heavier bottoms.

How are your fingers not bleeding?
I can't use anything above .10s without finger pain, though I have considered using thicker strings for the lower 3 and keeping .10s for the higher 3.

Well I worked my way up. About 2 weeks ago I was playing 9's bending like crazy. I bought some 13s 1.5 weeks ago. I couldn't bend the G string (Gb for me, Eb tuning bitch). I played for 3 hours that first day. Now within a week of playing 5-7 hours a day, I have a callus that looks like a growth on my middle finger.

My fingers did break out a while ago though, I used superglue to keep them in tact for the rest of the day.

Some sing hard and get throat polyps, others use suspension cables for strings and get finger lumps.
I've always wondered why no one makes a finger pad for situations where you could fuck your hand up or were injured. Then again, I've had no problems playing with those tiny strip bandages when I had blisters on my fingertips. Might have to try Mechanix gloves this winter if it happens again and my comrades go a-wasslin'.

But I get such a great tone.
How do I upload something to soundcloud?
I have yet tried to record something without the 14s on, though.

Thanks!
I couldn't imagine not being able to use R's and L's properly. That sucks, but at least you have music!
All my life I've always accidently emphasized my R's. It's a bad habit that happened when I was a kid.
It makes me sound like a pirate.

Please forgive me!
Anyways, I wonder what deals there will be on Black Friday for guitar stuff, maybe I can get some good strings really cheap.
Seriously?
Wow I gotta try that
I don't know if it's Ibanez Apex2 exclusive, but I have no problem with it what so ever. It's a bit looser than normal ofcourse, but it has enough tension to not warp the sound.
Neck has the ever so slight upbow and the intonation is always damned perfect. I love this guitar.
Today I found a golf ball
is this awesome y/n?
Booyah, my song is making great progress. :buddy:

Are you recording it or working on the midi version?? Or both?
