I'm gonna get my Epiphone Les Paul fixed up before the summer really kicks off, just so it's in peak condition should any band-making opportunities arise :v:

Not much cover on acoustic guitars in this thread, and that's a shame :(

Ear training software, courses, there's a million options out there.
This page helped me get some awesome beginner metal improv down:

This CD makes ear training COOL!
By the way, me and my friend are having a hard time trying to get his bass and my guitar to sound good when we do shit. Its either ones to lowed or the tuning for my guitars not right for how the bass is tuned. I have no idea.

Naw, Its $700 brand new, without a case. But this one is used, with no scratches or anything. Its bascially brand new.

I don't know anything about bass guitars. If my guitar is at standard, and his bass is at standard for a bass dos that = good?

For playing songs in standard tuning, yes. The bass just plays lower octaves of the lowest guitar notes, pretty much.
i'm wasted and man does that ear training guy look like a fuck

11/8 and 9/8 are where it's at. :v:
Also, Dave Martone is cool. I don't know if he's been posted yet, but I haven't seen anything on him. He has also played with Satriani, if that says anything.

Play some music. It will come in time.
I didn't separately practice my musical ear. It just grew along with the playing.
Out of curiosity, why do you like the Jagstang so much?
Because Cobain played them.
Because Cobain played them.
That's not a reason to buy a guitar.

I mainly want one for the sound, since I play a lot of grunge myself.
And I love light guitars.
Good job on making conclusions.
