Put on some thicker strings. I personally find they are nicer to play on and have tonal advantages over thinner strings. A set of 10s or 11s should get you closer to the feeling of a typical acoustic setup.
What tunings do you mostly use people? On my seven I use: B E A D G B E A D A D G B E A C G C F A D On my six I use: D A D G B E C G C F A D A# F A# D# G C
My seven uses F# B E A D F# B :smug:
After adjusting my bass's neck to get rid of fret buzz, I found I could tune the strings down a whole lot (like the E - B, A - E, etc). Could this cause any problems with my bass, or should it not make a difference? I havent noticed any issues.

So I was thinking about buying an acoustic guitar. BUT, I don't want to go to training I want to learn by myself & tutorials on the computer. But where do I start?
With chords.. Seriously, just learn a buncha chords.
Yep! Learn chords. Play along with songs.
I think it would be absolutely awesome to do some sort of Facepunch collab.

Can you play the electric triangle?
Okay, first of all. Do you want it to be able to be coilsplitted? If so, solder it according to an.com/images/support/schematics/2h_1v_1t_3w_1pp.jpg[/img]pport/schematics/2h_1v_1t_3w.jpg[/img] [editline]10:35AM[/editline] God I love Seymour Duncan.
Turns out following this would have been a VERY bad idea, because Dimarzio uses a different color scheme for wiring.
What tunings do you mostly use people?
my Destroyer is tuned to C standard and my RG and D standard sometimes I put the Destroyer in open C for playing around or covering Strapping Young Lad
More improv. I am very, very, very proud of this one. I was too lazy to put on a backing track, though. http://www.muziboo.com/Kookygoose/music/improv-2-improv-strikes-back/

Really, the color doesn't matter, just makes it easier, as long as one wire is connected from this point to that point, that is all that matters.

You should also turn the distortion down since it makes the change of pitch unhearable.
The pitch change is more of a microphone matter, I'll work on it next time.
You should turn up the volume. Can't hear shit.
No one can hear shit.
Just realized what the problem was. I have a USB mic set up for recording, and a headset mic for obvious reasons. It was set to record from the headset mic, which was across the room. [editline]11:48PM[/editline] Now that I've amplified it and listening to it again, it's pretty shit.
Now that I've amplified it and listening to it again, it's pretty shit.
Haha! I have also made several songs which I couldn't hear and was very proud of. :v:
After adjusting my bass's neck to get rid of fret buzz
Shit, that reminds me, I have to look at mine. It's pretty buzzy, and some of it comes through on the amp. My neck's almost dead on straight. To the point where you need a level and vise to see the curve.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXxZkNjKsic Listen, its interesting.
Love this album. There was a period of :smithicide: but now I'm all :buddy:
Just installed the Emg 18v mod on my guitar and I really love it. The clean are so much better now no more muddy. I will check out with various distortion pedals and effects on my amp. This will stop me from buying another guitar for a little while :D After rethinking, might buy one with passives, and repair my ibanez :D
I'm currently playing Like light to the flies from Trivium and I wonder which effect I should be using on my Amp. So far "Metal stack" and "Metal" sounds good but I don't know which one I should be using between those two. I also have another question, I have no clue what the power squeezer button on my Amp is for, if anyone would mind clearing that up for me.
i tried the Gibson sg in a shop today..Holy fuck I loved it. it was extremely ligth weigth. Had an awesome tune but the cost...1666 dollars:(

Sure, some models sound better than others, but it comes to a point where you are just paying for flair and bragging rights.
Yeh, i know that, its was a Gison Sg Standard. But im a sucker for cherry wood and 57 pickups..and blues guitars in general, fuck i would loveto have a BB king signature guitar.
