Try adjusting the truss rod a touch, the neck might be bowing back too much.
Well, to each their own. Also, WOOHOO! Ordered the Agile Interceptor, should be here sooner or later. Yay for Fedex and all that. I'm really hoping the manufacturing is as good as people make it out to be. Could save a lot of money buying an LP knockoff after this. And if it's terrible, I send it back, go back to being a brand elitist, buy a Carvin or ESP or Ibby or who cares what, and I'm out nothing. Win/win.
Too bad that guitar doesn't have a OFR bridge, just a knock-off. Have fun tuning it.
No, the necks fine its just this is my first time with a floyd rose and its difficult for my to get the spring tension and the string tension right and there really close to the frets. I just don't know how to fix this.
Too bad that guitar doesn't have a OFR bridge, just a knock-off. Have fun tuning it.
Supposedly it's pretty solid for a licensed model. And having to replace it isn't the end of the world if it turns out to be spunk.

lol at sick jits Keep expensive gear in garage and be suprised when it's stolen. Back to the point I've finally got around to playing again. I don't regret taking a break, and I'm getting better at finger picking everyday :). My electric is going to collect dust for a while, this is where it's at for now. Can anybody suggest some intermediate acoustic songs that I should look up? Or maybe some cool acoustic guitarists that I should be familar with to expand my tastes,

cheers :)
I'm thinking about getting new strings for my bass, any suggestions? I'm thinking of D'addario nickel wound. I'm using Ernie Ball strings right now and I really don't like them that much.
En-Guage, get your teacher to teach you Flamenco. That's flamenco up there but its really great to get the rudiments and concepts behind it because then you can make Spaniards dance.
I have a nylon string, although it's terrible Maybe I will give that a shot, I don't know if he can teach it to me though

Asturias? Intermediate? That's a very hard piece.
En-Guage, get your teacher to teach you Flamenco.
I have a nylon string, although it's terrible Maybe I will give that a shot, I don't know if he can teach it to me though
I would not recommend Asturias just yet. Though.. I don't know at what level you are. Can you play this? Check it out: Lágrima Tab: http://www.classtab.org/ftalagri.txt If that's too easy/you already know it, then check out Bach's Air: http://www.lcstudio.se/musselasse/gitarr/tab/air.htm <- good arrangement. Here are more tabs: http://www.classtab.org/ http://www.lcstudio.se/musselasse/gitarr/tab.htm You can also try arranging songs yourself. It's very rewarding and you can adjust the difficulty to fit your own playing skill.
Awesome man, and nah Asturias wasn't a suggestion of learning to play, I think it was just to expand my taste. And thanks for that effort man, I really appriciate it :). Tomorrow I promise you I will attempt to learn some of those songs. I look at that youtube link and I thought it was pretty cool :v: I have made some rough finger picking stuff together (well I kind of pieced bits and pieces together and changed them a lot but y'know) and its a start at least. I dug up my nylon string, it's actually pretty good! Not super out of tune, lovely tone. I hate the feel, but GODDAMN I DIG THE TONE of nylon strings. :) Thanks again for recommending me that stuff, I really like it brofist
It's still nearly 200$ for a new FR.
It was a $700 guitar. The next model I was considering with a real FR was $1200, and a couple at $1500. Even replacing it I'm still better off by $300 at least.
Lágrima Tab: http://www.classtab.org/ftalagri.txt If that's too easy/you already know it, then check out Bach's Air: http://www.lcstudio.se/musselasse/gitarr/tab/air.htm <- good arrangement.
Huh. I might have to try those, beats just memorizing chords until my electric comes in.

Just got back from a coffee house that I played at. Nice to finally perform for people again
you're an idiot
clearly not as much as you to leave expensive shit in my garage and be suprised when it goes missing then again I don’t have gear like you obviously, but you honestly can’t say that you’re surprised it was stolen, or surprised that in a garage wasn’t a good place to put that kind of gear. I don’t live in a bad town, even if I had gear quite like you I doubt that I would leave it outside, even undercover for a variety of reasons. and I saw you complaining that you had to carry it up stairs, you’ve been boasting you’re so strong and whatever for various threads, surely a tough guy like you can handle that also much as I dislike you, you have my sympathy. that really does suck. I hope you get your gear back somehow. you still shouldn’t have put all your expensive stuff in such a dumb place though
brofist
:) You play nylon don't you?
:) You play nylon don't you?
I play some classical, yes. :)
I'd like to play acoustic and classic kind of stuff I mean don't get me wrong, I worship electric, but everyone plays electric I want to try something different for a change
I prefer acoustic at the moment, most probably because my epiphone buzzes like a bee and my 30 watt Marshall decided to die. Although the 2 watt Fender Tweed amp I have is super sexy. A tad limited, but super sexy.
