Indeed, I too shat bricks upon glimpsing it's epicness.
I'm selling my Les Paul Epiphone Special II to my sister and I'm going to buy another guitar. My budget is around $475 / £305 / €370 I play mostly heavy metal songs, any suggestions?
If you're willing to try 7 strings, the Ibanez RG7621 and RG7421 can be picked up for around $300-350 used, and offer great made-in-Japan quality, and leaves you over $100 to upgrade to some bitchin' pickups.
I would say Dimebuckers but they're 6 string pickups :(
Yeah, either it's a crappy guitar, or it's old strings.
Older strings always keep the tune better than new/slightly used strings altho they might sound blunt and spiritless. It's because the tuners suck or the guitar has been wrongly stringed.

New strings keep tune perfectly as long as you stretch them out.

Thing is that I know nothin' about guitar but how to play them and tune them, so pickup changing and stuff is out of my expertise (as of now, not hard to google). I haven't tried any 7 stringed guitar yet, I don't know how badly it'll fuck up my playing. Always stuck with 6.
That tone!!!

It's not that hard to adjust to a seven. I mean, it's not like an eight where you might start having problems navigating the neck because of the size. Unless you have small hands. And getting pickups changed tends to cost almost nothing even if you're doing it at GC.

How long from when you started playing did it take for your fingers to stop hurting? I can only play for about half and hour a day until I just have to stop.
You appear to have far too many guitars on your hands, sir.
Allow me to assist you by taking that Rick and Tele off your hands

Oh you wish
I'll be taking that Rickenbacker thank you very much :colbert:
Oh you wish
:(
oh fuck you sir
rickenbackers are my fetish
I loath almost all Rickenbacker appearances, but they really did something very right with that bass.

You bought a guitar without playing it?
Bad idea man.
That black Fender reminds me of my old Kramer.
:saddowns:
The Rickenbacker and the Telecaster are fucking sweet.
How much did you get the Rickenbacker for?
I love this song, and I want to try and record myself singing it while playing, but I just can't figure it out. I might just have to make up a chord progression.
