hypno! where have you been?
How long from when you started playing did it take for your fingers to stop hurting? I can only play for about half and hour a day until I just have to stop.
It's impossible to fully determine, there is a way to speed up how quickly callouses are built up on your fingers though
depends what kind of guitar you're playing, and how long for a day

As cool as having all those guitars would be, How often would you use tham all?
It's not that hard to adjust to a seven. I mean, it's not like an eight where you might start having problems navigating the neck because of the size. Unless you have small hands. And getting pickups changed tends to cost almost nothing even if you're doing it at GC.
The local music shop doesn't have Ibanez RG7621 nor RG7421, if you could take a look and pick one you'd think fit my interests, I'd be grateful. Here's their site:

It's Swedish though.

This, Rick basses are awesome. Plus Lemmy has one
BTW, where have you been?
No, I want the Rick bass!
Shut up, it's my birthday today, so I'm getting the Rick.
Shut up, it's my birthday today, so I'm getting the Rick.
No way man, that Rick is mine!
so it seems there is at least one guitar that all of us love
rickenbacker really does make some nice looking stuff

Okay, so you're upgrading from a LP Special II to...whatever, and your only real concerns are that it works for metal, is on that site, and costs about 3500 SEK?
Looking at Ibbys...You could probably do worse than the GRGR121EX1, and you'd have money left over if you wanted to swap the pickups (they sound kinda cheezy to me.) I dunno, if you understand German, check out this review:

The RGA32 isn't a bad choice either, but you wouldn't have much leftover if you wanted to upgrade parts. Or if you know you like the Les Paul shape and want to stick with it the ART80 wouldn't be that bad.
As far as other manufacturers go...the Epiphone Les Paul Goth or SG Goth? Another option would maybe be getting a Squier strat and a pair of Seymour Duncan Hot Rails. I've heard some stuff with them that's pretty impressive. Dimarzio makes something like them too, I think. Depends on what kind of "heavy metal" we're talking about.
It's too bad the LTD series is out of your price range, they'd probably be right up your alley, if you can tolerate EMGs. You might want to consider the Schecter too, but their cheaper stuff scares me.

Who doesn't love Rickenbackers? You have to. It's mandatory.

You just joined, you have no right to say.

Ibanez needs to think of better names.
"hey guys I just got the RGEX2IUIFJHDHSFJFJJDHDHSFHFHXTRASOULMETALGHFGBDSDJSJFJKFSGFHKFHAGDAPOIWUEJ"
It's better than the opposite. I wouldn't have a problem owning a RG299SPFUTNGHJIK-EX!!4569-098123, but I'd shotgun a jug of bleach before I bought anything called a "Dinky."
think of a cool name depending on the finish
Like a RG Blood-Wine or something. That would be a cool name.
RG Candyapple :v:
RG Rainbow Severance
RG Ochre Miasma
Iceman Cocain
RG Lavender Lobotomy
Not meaning to interupt your color coated Ibanez parade, but My Ibanez DE7 has stopped working, I had to take it out of my effects chain because I only had two adapters and the 9v battery powering the Wah died, now that I want to use the Delay again rather than the wah it doesn't work, I checked inside the pedal and it had a battery in it, I assumed the battery was dead and plugged in one of my adapters, still nothing happened, I tried the other adapter, I checked the battery on the wah and the wah worked fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Some poorly made electronics need a fresh (or not stone dead) battery for an adapter to work. But that's mostly for ancient shit. Try sticking in a fresh battery anyway.
Beyond that, your standard electronics repair routine- look for obviously broken stuff, like corrosion on the inputs, shot fuses, wires that came loose, any obvious shorts, etc.

Not that I understand much of this, I'm not really well-read into guitar pickups and stuff, what makes a difference between a good and a back pickup?
I like the look and price of the GRG270B BKN, any pros and cons about that one?
The only bad pickups are the ones that don't work anymore.

Materials (like the magnet and wiring type), construction. Then it's what you're using it for, as they've all got different tones. Go to the Seymour Duncan and Dimarzio websites and listen to soundclips, you'll notice the differences in how various models sound and what they're each good for.
If I had a recording interface on me, I'd give you some better examples.

Only concern would be the bridge, and from reviews it looks decent enough.
