What in the fuck am I looking at?
I can't remember the name of the model but it's a 5-string Warwick bass.
I don't mean to be a prick, but when I can't even buy their shit from, say, Musician's Friend, I have to wonder why exactly that is if they're good. Or, if the price doesn't matter as much as I'm assuming it does, why I wouldn't just pay some local monkey to make me a custom. Or why I wouldn't just buy an ESP that comes with the pickups I want and would cost me less than installing them on something else.
They are self distributed like a lot of smaller companies do. If that alone is enough to put you off then fair enough, they don't need to the business of a brainwashed elitist tool. I'd assume a 3 band EQ, volume, pickup pan, piezo volume and maybe a piezo EQ. Doesn't say on the site though
Woah
Yeah, crazy stuff. All it needs is another string and it'd be perfect :v:
[IMG_thumb]http://i49.tinypic.com/n5lwdt.jpg[/IMG_thumb] well after five years of playing guitar i figured i better learn some more theory else im not going to get anywhere

The first one really wasn't what I needed. It was learning again from the ground up, rather than just teaching me scales and techniques. The second book was a bit useless without knowing the other stuff. Let me know how that book is.
hmmmm im starting to lean on the vox amp i picked out.... can sanyone find me a decent amp for no more than £250, where i can get an iron maiden type sound?
Peavey Vypyr, preferrably the 30-watt (or higher) model. [editline]11:33AM[/editline]
A good man once told me, there's little you can't play on a 4-string anyway.
Dream Theater. Go.
Peavey Vypyr, preferrably the 30-watt (or higher) model
i did look at the Vypyr but i dont really like modelling amps and would like something around 15 watts.
My school has this in one of the music studios, it's not in great nick though. I've never seen one before. That tele is interesting And I want a model strat too :v:
A better picture of my Schecter.
i did look at the Vypyr but i dont really like modelling amps and would like something around 15 watts.
Why not? They're pretty versatile. Also as for finding a Maiden tone with a 15w-or-less amp is going to be very difficult considering Maiden plays with Marshall tube stacks with lots of gain. The easiest (and cheapest) way to get that tone, or at least something close, is with a modeling amp.

I own a model strat, a model Flying V and a model ESP Kirk Hammet guitar. :colbert:

That instrument is rare as fuck!
Seriously?
I don't know if any other strings are meant for me. I started to use Dimebag's signature strings and found them to be amazing, hardly ever went out of tune and I could get harmonics so easy with them. Eventually I started to venture out and try some other strings, and I can't seem to find any that are close to the quality of Dimebag's.
Seriously is that Bullet valuable? :ohdear:
Seriously is that Bullet valuable? :ohdear:
~500 bucks.
Well that isn't as much as I thought. But still a lot. I wonder if they'd willingly swap my Extreme for it :v:
I wonder if they'd willingly swap my Extreme for it :v:
oh god dont start the how eXtreme thing again
Holy shit. Those were a guitar Fender sold in either the 70's or 80's as a starter instrument, but they were canceled for some reason (probably, more people were buying Strats and Teles).
I wasn't. That is the make of my guitar.
man this book is good, i just learnt how to figure out and play the major scale in any key from these two pages. [img_thumb]http://i49.tinypic.com/2wpjmzc.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i46.tinypic.com/4vg2ky.png[/img_thumb]

I have one and its SO AWESOMME! Great distortion and comes with a pedal too. Its 50 watts if youre wondering and costs under £200.
So anyone want to teach me what the difference between humbuckers and single coil pickups is? I gathered that generally single coils have a more biting tone but I don't really know.
