okay guys, I wanna get an Epiphone explorer '58, the only problems is that the only online store that sells them the humbuckers and stringbrigde(ya know what i mean) and where you fasten the strings are gold colored, now im not very fond of gold. so if i buys some good emgs or other i was thinking '57 humbuckers and either in steel or black and make the rest steel colored. Sound good?

ow, I think I hurt my neck. staring at the fretboard for a few hours without moving while doing scales did something to it, the muscles feel stiff and it cracks if I turn it. any tips on how to prevent from destroying my range of neck motion while practicing?

i'm excited. just recently formed a band with a few mates and it's turned into some evanescence & nightwish combination, which actually sounds pretty kickass. girl singers are pretty cool :buddy:

So you want to put some EMG's on it or 1957 'buckers combined with either chrome or black hardware, right? In that case, don't buy a white one. They always come with gold hardware. Not a good move, bro. Not only can the shipping process fuck up the guitar due to climate change, no two acoustics sound the same, so you really should play them before you buy them. Edit: It sure does look great, though.

If it's not in transit for weeks it will be fine. Hell, my dad's Ibanez acoustic spent years in humid Australian rainforests, and it's still fine.
