I don't think you should. Never seen a combination like that, it looks awesome. White finish and gold hardware on the other hand...
Anyone has some good scale that goes mostly across the neck? Most of the scales I have are vertical so I end up being stuck in a vertical motion on the neck and sucking on moving across the neck.
Are there any amps better than a Vox VT30 in the $250 price range or is the VT30 pretty much the best one, because I was thinking of trading in my 30W spider 3 and the express pedal I have for one. Diminished scale? Whole-tone scale?
Harmonic minor doesn't move alot across the neck.
I know. Octave scale.
Soon to be new guitar. Specs: http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/products/acoustic/sundance/tw1000/TW1000CB.html What think
That's really nice, man. Tanglewood's are great, at least from the ones I've played. I have a Nashville Special II myself.

All scales can and will move you up and down the neck just as much as you want them to.
No, its black. Heres the link.. http://www.mamut.net/riff/subdet1040.htm Nevermind the launguage.
That looks sweet! Why would you want different colored hardware?
That's a first, a black guitar with gold hardware... A guitar that a rapper would use?
Apparently rappers prefer black or chrome hardware.
Can I just cut the strings off of my electric guitar if I want to replace them with new ones, and not let the neck break?
Can I just cut the strings off of my electric guitar if I want to replace them with new ones, and not let the neck break?
Yes
Can I just cut the strings off of my electric guitar if I want to replace them with new ones, and not let the neck break?
No if they're still tuned and absolutely no if you have a tremolo. You need to detune till it's about an octave down before cutting on hardtail to prevent the strings from hitting you and until they just wobble for a tremolo. Also, only change one at at time because having all the strings off WILL damage the neck.
okay then im just going to buy it.. maybe ill post pics here if i can raise the amount:3
Can I just cut the strings off of my electric guitar if I want to replace them with new ones, and not let the neck break?
Tune them down completely before cutting them loose. And preferably replace one string at a time. This to minimize the stress on the neck.
I'm sick of people bashing them, and all the peavy fags saying how shit they are Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon on this one, they're not bad amps and I'm sick of people telling me that they are [editline]06:13PM[/editline] No I don't own one
Actually I'm a midrange Crate and Mesa fanboy. I just haven't once gotten a Line 6 to sound anything like what I want it to. The EQ pedal probably helped alot. I'll get my new GRG270B this week
Somebody mind telling me how the acoustic part of the Engie theme is played? I don't know what they're doing to make those chords so light and fluffy, and I can't tell if that's really being done by hand or with a pick or not. Not an acoustic guy normally. Suppose I could just email Mike and ask but I bug him enough as is.

Thank god for my friend. He lent me his lemon oil (I was out yes I know I'm stupid) and I finally got to cleaning and restringing my Dean the PROPER way. No more dirty fretboard, nut, neck, bridge and what not. The best part is I didn't have to set it up again, perfect intonation, holds tune, neck has ever so slight relief. So my day is made! :v:
I love that feeling just after a tune-up.
The best part of it is that the guitar has a floyd rose on it. So I was expecting it to bitch me to no ends, but surprisingly it didn't!
I think there's some misunderstand here on what a scale actually is. All scales can and will move you up and down the neck just as much as you want them to.
Well, I mean the scales I have are like: e B G ----------------------------------12--14--16--14--12 D -------------------12--14--15--------------------------15--14--12 A ---12--14--15--------------------------------------------------------15--14--12 E So they pretty much just stay within 3-4 frets no matter where I play them on the fretboard. What I want are scales that go something like this: e --------------------------------------------------------------7--8--10--8--7 B -----------------------------------------------5--7--8--10------------------10--8--7--5 G -------------------------------------4--5--7-----------------------------------------------7--5--4 D -----------------------2--4--5--7-------------------------------------------------------------------7--5--4--2 A -------------2--3--5---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------5--3--2 E ---2--3--5---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------5--3--2

If you need amps to make fun of I just bought a BP15 like a moron. It's the stinky kind of analog...or maybe that's the eau de pawn-shoppe. Ah well, $20 is good enough for a two week rental before I get my MOTU and sell it back.
strum
Sorry, I worded that bad, I know what the notes are. So it is with fingers, you can't pick it. Fuck. My titanic hands have failed me. At least I've got a feedback dampener now.
Seriously, who names these fucking things?
Oh shit, we're back to this. GRG Thermobaric Iridium
okay then im just going to buy it.. maybe ill post pics here if i can raise the amount:3
Just thought I'd mention I played with a used one today, it was pretty nice. Pre-China AFAIK so the hardware is all good and it's built like it ought to be. Pups aren't to my taste but they're pretty sweet. You'll probably love the fuck out of it.
