Oh shit, we're back to this.
GRG Thermobaric Iridium

Is that what you guys were going on about?

That is possibly the best website I have seen since pornhub, thank you.
What are the best strings for a nice fat metallic-coppery sound on an acoustic?
I've been buying all different brands to no avail, but to be honest I've only been spending $5-10. I wouldn't mind a more expensive brand, as long as I get the sound I want.
Also, 666th post.
Well, I mean the scales I have are like:
e
B
G ----------------------------------12--14--16--14--12
D -------------------12--14--15--------------------------15--14--12
A ---12--14--15--------------------------------------------------------15--14--12
E
So they pretty much just stay within 3-4 frets no matter where I play them on the fretboard.
What I want are scales that go something like this:
e --------------------------------------------------------------7--8--10--8--7
B -----------------------------------------------5--7--8--10------------------10--8--7--5
G -------------------------------------4--5--7-----------------------------------------------7--5--4
D -----------------------2--4--5--7-------------------------------------------------------------------7--5--4--2
A -------------2--3--5---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------5--3--2
E ---2--3--5---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------5--3--2
Make them yourself. Each scale is a note that goes up a scale and you can just apply it to different necks. Not too hard.
You ordered an acoustic? Not a good move, bro.
Not only can the shipping process fuck up the guitar due to climate change, no two acoustics sound the same, so you really should play them before you buy them.
Edit:
It sure does look great, though.
I didn't order it. To buy a guitar you need to at least play it first, that was just for reference.
That's really nice, man. Tanglewood's are great, at least from the ones I've played. I have a Nashville Special II myself.
Awesome

Elixir Nanowebs? - They stay that way for git long too.
I've never heard of guitar cardio before, and I went to it
What exactly does it accomplish? Is it just finger training or what?
Yes I've been to it and seen it, but still confused

You learn how to play scales.
I just came back from vacation and it appears I started massive shitstorm.
For christ sakes I say I don't like a certain amp and comment on the poor quality of an amp demo and I apparently committed a personal attack on owners of Line 6 amps.

It's already sorted out, so lets keep on other subjects! :sax:
I have decisions to make. I have my customised Harley Benton, but realising the prices of Deans (hurr Dean suck), I can get a Dean bass within a couple of months. I want an ML or a Z, leaning towards the ML more though. To make the Dean custom, I could get the guy at the music shop to transfer my Seymour Duncans into the Dean, but this would mean cutting into the body and forming new cavities. I don't know if it would be worth it though.
But, I could get a Dean, or I could save for longer and get a better amp.
Save for longer, Harley Bentons are much better than any Dean would ever be.
Get a better amp.
Well either one of the Deans or an Epiphone Flying V or Explorer bass.
I love this guitar :haw:

What is the chord pattern he is using in the first 14 seconds?
sounds like Gsus4 - Csus4 - Gsus4 - D
The rest you can figure out
Alright, I know there is a G and D major in there somewhere...
Yeah the chords I posted are the only ones used, but in other combinations
ah
My friend just tuned his acoustic to D-D-D-D-D-D. Was fucking crazy.

Is that even possible without having some strings break and some ridiculously flappy?
[editline]09:34PM[/editline]
So I've been looking at 7-strings recently. At first I looked up the 7 string version of the Schecter I was previously considering, but then realized that I'd have to either buy a seven with actives or replace the passives with bareknuckles or SDs, since I suspect that the stock Schecetr 'buckers aren't nearly as hot as I would like for the type of music I'd play with a seven. Then I looked up Ibanez, but the only good seven without a trem(I hate FLs) is the RGA7, which has fucked up electronics(pickups driven by two AAs)that would be a bitch to change to EMGs, plus I'm not a fan of Ibanez necks. Too flat.
So I looked up Agile, who I hear make very good guitars at a reasonable price. They seem really good - I could get a trem-less superstrat seven with neck-thru-body for less than 700$. The thing is, my desired feature combination doesn't seem to be available. What I want is basically this in natural or red and with a rosewood fretboard. Now they also have this which is pretty close but in white...Now I've always liked the look of white guitars, but I'm afraid I'd get bored of it and/or look like a christcore fag while palying it.
Do you know if they would take a custom order like that? Or is there some other brand I should know about?
I love that feeling you get when you write a killer-sounding riff.
Is that even possible without having some strings break and some ridiculously flappy?
Yeah, drop the E, drop the A, leave the D, drop the G, up the B, drop the E.
Floppiest one is the A, still playable though.
Ostrich tuning is epic.
Saw a really nice looking Epiphone the other day. I didn't even know they made Goldtops in an Ebony finish:

I love the look of all the cream against the black.

I've seen them take custom orders (somebody mentioned one ITT if I'm not mistaken), and I'd like to find out what their requirements are too because after I got my 30" Interceptor I am pretty much fucking hooked on their shit. Just email Kurt.
Even if you can't get the one you want with the bridge you want, the licensed FRs are wonderful. I know you don't like 'em, but seriously, I'd call the one on mine even with an original. If one has an FR and you don't want it just stick in a Tremel-No or block it, it'll be fine. Hell, just leave the arm off and don't use it.

If it helps I have a 7 string Apex2 which is Munky from KoRn's signature guitar, but at an affordable price.
Seven string with a hardtail, Wizard II Neck and Dimarzio Pickups... I was sold at first sight.

why would he think this is a good idea

Agile do a custom shop, but considering you would pay an extra 50% on top of the cost of the initial instrument to get anything customised, you might have to wrestle with yourself over whether it's worth it or not
