Aye, navy blue or grey in an urban environment. Generally you want the base color of whatever you are trying to blend into plus a tight grid pattern over it. Assuming you are bound and determined to have darkness specific camo. The United States used this during the first gulf war: The truth of the matter is that you should really just wear whatever would blend in during the day. Trying to blend with the shadows is pointless as you already blend with the shadows if you manage to blend with the environment. Black however is the bad choice. Black doesn't occur in situations where you need camo. Shadows are dark grey, not black, so you wind up standing out like a retard if you are in black in a shadow.
Best thing to do is wear something like a ghillie suit, something that blends your silhouette.
