It's not as far as london -> lake district as it is scotland -> lake district (depending where you are) just get on a train. It's not like you're across the sea.
Is there still space, because me and my friend (we're both 16) are seriously considering coming.
We both live near Leeds, so travel isn't an issue.

If you can get from windermere station to the campsite on your own, there shouldn't be a problem.

We're probably getting the bus or being picked up from windermere station by someone. I guess we could get a taxi if there are any.

Apparently there is a minibus service from the Windermere ferry to Hawkshead, which I presume is where you're staying. Not sure about prices though...

We are thinking about going on the 25th to solve the issue of timing.
Unless something stupidly major happens, we're both in.
You'll have to book the camp site separately though. We already are booking 10 of us in since that's our cap. If you happen to be camping at the same sight then we can't really stop you.
