Perhaps so, but they get the job done eventually, most reliable stove ever. They still work when everyone elses gas cylinders are frozen and their primus stoves are being blown out.
Also in 10 odd years of use, never had a problem with the pan handler. That, and they weigh virtually nothing. As expedition stoves go they're incredible.
